My Specter Doesn't Use Its Abilities?

I made a Nyx specter thinking it would chaos up the place for me at least occasionally.  But... It doesn't.  It follows me around and blasts at stuff with its shotgun and that's it.  I thought specters were supposed to have the warframe's abilities?  o_O

Only the Cosmic and tier below that regularly use thier powers the first 2 tiers are just cannon fodder specters which im guessing is the one you made.

I regularly see my vapor and phase specters use powers so its not just the force and cosmic that use them I think its that not all the specters use all the powers so they only have one or two and nyx just doesent have any powers that see a lot of use by the specter AI you might see her mind control something every now and again

I thought it was supposed to be fixed but they seem to only use the basic damage power once or twice and thats it.  Like their energy runs out and doesn't get replenished.

So yeah no chaos anyway just a few psychic bolts.

They only have 50 max energy and efficiency doesn't work.

 

So they can never use 75/100 energy powers if that's the issue.

My Nyx specter uses Absorb from time to time, maybe your Specter uses her Hysic Bolts too soon to use any other powers, are you just never notice it.

It's a force Specter btw.

I didn't give it mind control or psychic bolts because why would I? By far Nyx's weakest features.   And it seems there's several reasons why it might not be using Chaos or Absorb.

 

So I completely wasted a blueprint and build materials. :(  Which is pretty much what I was afraid of.

They dont take the mods you give them, they use a basic preset by class. So the 1/2 abilities should be available to them. I've seen specters use abilities not installed when I made them.
