I think that the energy gave him all kinds of cool powers and also taught him speak English lol. He's also had it with telling us to "TAKEITEASY!" Think of it this way, before he was able to use the Janus Key all the while in control of himself. Maybe..just maybe...he's being mind-controlled by the Neural Sentry after so much exposure. In the T4 missions all he talks about is baptising the Tenno through the Janus key, that he had been reborn due to the Orokin energies within the key, and the secrets of the Void the Tenno have yet to know.
