None should be forced to PvP on a largely-considered PvE game, despite the difficulty it imply or the rarity/value of the reward. The simple fact of the matter is that the bulk of the money invested by players into this game was done while the game was still under the guise of being co-op only. There should be no gear of any sort worthwhile in the pve co-op arena that should be available via pvp only. Why? Because it makes PvP forced. Transmutation and Trading aren't relevant or sensible arguments to the contrary... Both options as viable alternatives will make DE look bad in the long run. It, ultimately, shows that they don't respect that there is a distinction between the two gameplay styles. It's one thing to encourage players to experience their new content and another to force players to do so... This is the appearance whether it's merely an oversight or not. Only to never find out because a "sniper" never leaves his cover. Warframe is centered on pickups - ammo, resources, mods - and movement. Those mods drop from specters. They show up in many, many levels. But they are all Dark Sectors. Until the Stalker brings back the Black-Red Emo Army which is still faithful to the Ancients (which created us the Tenno, then we betrayed and killed them all, then Stalker emo drama queen) and they start showing up in other maps as stalkerlings. It isn't actually given to you at the end of PvP rounds if you pick it up. It's an oversight, plain and simple. Nobody is forcing you to play PvP to get it, because you can't get it from PvP.
