An Easy Mode.

So a lot of people like warframe because it's really easy and they get to feel powerful. Others Don't like that the game is easy,skill-less and entirely reliant on gear and would like some balance. However, on requests for balance, the players who like the easy game usually post to keep with the status quo. It's (hopefully) because of DE listening to everyone that hundreds of balancing issues haven't been fixed as DE haven't been sure what to do.

The answer shouldn't be "go play nightmare mode if you want a challenge". The answer should be "go play easy mode if you like being OP" with mods, weapons, frames and enemies changed so that players can always have a good time with a fair challenge in normal game-play. Because at the moment the game, unbalanced, will always be either too hard or too easy for the player depending on their gear.

Thats the thing, there is NO 'Hard mode'. There is no high-level content unless you waste time waiting for high levels for 30-40 min or gimp yourself unequipping your mods (and this doesn't work in coop game).  NM is too random, half mutators there are easy and its still just lvl~30 mobs that you easily kill.

T4 was a step in right direction and brought some needed challenge into the game, but there is nothing new besides Vor and it got old already.

T4 was a step in the right direction? Agree to disagree.

T4 was just "MOAR DAMAGE". Higher numbers. That's not challenge. That's cheap. All T4 brought is a way to easily determine which players know how to take cover and which just rush no matter what, without using their brains.

It brought frustration, because players who know how to play have to carry those who just mindlessly rush into mobs of insta-gib enemies and then insult their teammates for not suicide rushing to their rescue. But did it bring challenge? Nope.

Vor was all new, and even stats increase alone makes for more challenge - more fun game. And yes more emphasis on playing with your brain on if you want ot stay alive. Not much, but better than nothing.

Infested remake was lots of changes to AI mechanics, but there are lots of truly cheap uncountrable things so not many are happy with them.  (And they are still trivialised by getting on a high ledge and spamming Vortex)

This game has 2 difficulties:

1 - P!ss easy.

2 - 1 hit killed.

And it will stay that way forever because the DEvs do not show signs of creative challenge thinking.

Players have suggested many game modes and changes that bypass this issue in the past.

DE should Siff through some.

I see your point here about the game being too hard or too easy depending on the player's gear, but didn't the devs change the starchart's mechanics to avoid "taxis", thus restricting low-level/new players from high level planets where their gear can't handle the difficulty? Just my two cents.

Also, playing Warframe is skill-less? If you're not using skills and strategy on shooting games you're playing it wrong.

taxis are irrelevant. You could be a rank 17 player who forgot to equip his good gear, or you could be a new player brought into a void tier too high. Though mostly you could be someone who wants to play venus for the polymer and forget to unequip your Aksoma dragon prime and it's eight mods of fury. Or you could be stuck on a team of boltor primes whilst you're using the cernos.

I can play one handed on a tier four survival and my only problem will be life support until 40. I can kill heavy gunners in two shots of a boltor prime. I don't even need to aim. I can just spray into a crowd and leave no survivors. That's the cost of not balancing the game because people are too attached to being OP.

That happens also because the enemies level increase curve within a mission is exponential and not made with balance considerations.  Its goes up very slowly in first 30 min (lvl20 to lvl35 in T3), but then jumps wildly in just 10 minutes to lvl60!  So basically the window of rather balanced difficulty is tiny small. Its boring easy for ~30 min then in just 10 min it gets hard (impossible of not-so-well equipped players, keep in mind how armor stacks with health).

Level increase curve within a mission needs to be rebalanced and smoothed (besides other things)

That does not even make sense.

If you have a game that has "levels" for classes and gear, then ALL the content will be either too easy or too hard depending where you go. You will never have "balance" because the devs can't second guess ALL the possible combinations of things and teams you might bring to a mission.

The only possible way to get perfect balance is to limit what players can collect and equip to such an extent that all combinations of levels and gear will fall with in a tiny differential. Guild Wars did that, with small percentage stats between bad and perfect weapons, constant tweaks to abilities when loopholes were found, and level 20 cap, where technically, level 20 was really the "starting level" and everything lower was "training".

Warframe is to Diablo if Diablo gameplay ended at "Normal" difficulty and the drops and levels stopped there. Shoving 6 Forma on guns is the equivalent of having "Hard mode+" level weapons in "Normal" difficulty, so of course the balance will go whacky. Why is this so frigging difficult to understand?

Warfarme is not CoD4 where people are shooting you with a 6 Forma Soma or Boltor Primes. Warframe is closer to Borderlands, where every so often you find a player with a powerful Purple random drop weapon that can clean up faster then you. If it annoys you so much that they managed to randomly get a top gun by accident, get into a different game and leave them alone.

If this game annoys you, you are doing it to yourself. You have all the tools at your disposal to control what games you get into so STOP making it sound like the "lack of balance" is killing the game.
