Maniac nodded, closing his hands and going back to looking at the others, paying special attention to the female tenno, she reminded him of a mirage he'd worked with for a while, after saving her life, she vowed her own life to his protection, she had protected him for quite a long time, until he'd had enough, she was forcing him to become domesticated, giving him a name, even treating him normal. He'd actually felt pain when a Frost Prime found him and told him she died, thus, he secluded himself, regaining his claws. As he thought, he didn't notice him touching a certain shard of the material in his hands, a piece of chrome metal, shattered, from when he'd first met her, throwing her to the ground, breaking her armor, her warframe, later coming back to his senses and leading her out of the grineer ship, killing all that crossed his path. He shrugged off the thoughts, blinking and looking away from the Nyx.

He walked over to the door and awaited for the Nyx to order the guards to open it up "Let's see what this journey has for us" he replied towards the Nyx.

"Indeed." Adalynn replying to Seth.

She waved to one of the guards to open the gate to the outside of the community. The thing was made out of stacks of transport containers, stacked and welded together. Using a pulley system, the gate was now open to the outside world. It was about noon, and they had already taken their sweet time forming the group. It as only time to venture out into the frozen tundra.

"I say we head east. There might be something out for us there." Adalynn said whilst keeping a brisk walk. "I heard of some rumblings out there, so it could be a good place to start."

She unholstered her Viper pistol, checking to see if it is loaded. And it was. Ammo wasn't too much of a primary concern, given that Grineer weapons were rather plentiful. The only problem that it present is how much ammo her weapons can chew through. She smiled, and kept the pistol to her side.

"Time to head east."

The Corpus had been so pre occupied with observing the Grineer brawler that he'd almost missed the Nyx's call to head out. He'd always been fascinated by the Grineer clones, the Tenno warriors and even the Corrupted leagues and Infested hordes. Their technology, way of life, what made them tick. He was intrigued by it all.

This curiosity had preceded back into the army, but unfortunately one would not possess the time to ask another about their life story when that other would very well be attempting to put a bullet in your head or whisk you off to some sort of a torture chamber.

This, Maniac, as he'd come to know him by his reputation, listening to the quietened conversations in the camp's stations of work, was particularly unique. He'd always had to overhear these conversations, he was never invited to one. He pryed his helmeted face away, hopefully before Maniac or any of the other Grineer noticed. He wasn't good at making friends with these clones, but agitate them? Oh boy.

He moved up towards the Nyx, giving her a nod as if to say "I'm ready".

The Corpus tensed as the warrior god approached. He didn't dare move, as if he were a little mouse being towered above by a King Cobra, ready to pounce the second it's limited senses caught the air of movement. He could feel the sweet dripping down on his face behind his helmet. He gulped before speaking, struggling to find words. The fact the Tenno before him was a prime didn't help calm his nerves.

"It's just, ah, you know, um... they're part of another culture, and I just, um, find it interesting... is all."

Maniac noticed the Nyx checking her gun, and walked over, retrieving something from a black satchel on his back, a small box with a dial of three settings, the lowest saying,

"No Pew." The one above it, "Pew." And the highest one "Pew,pew, pew."

He pointed at the Viper, then at the box, and mimed putting them together. Offering her the box afterwards.

Cal forgetting the corpus views stepped back from him to allow him gather him self

" sorry, didn't mean to startle you. It's just you don't see to many corpus interested in something other then profit let allow the grineer. I found it refreshing"

He offer his hand out to the corpus to let him know he meant no warm and a sign of good faith before adding

" I've seen many moas, none quite yours though."

Seth nodded to Adelynn and shouted to his fellow party members "We're moving east! Stay close and keep an eye on your supplies!" Then started to head out into the wasteland carefully, keeping his Grinlok ready just incase.

Europa's wildlife and flora had flourished in the wake of the Second collapse but there were risks of Infested and Corrupted arriving, He hadn't seen any so far in his travels but there was always a chance.

Kor finished cleaning and repairing his old Kraken as he heard the Doctor's call.  "East?  There's nothing out to the east.  Nothing but raiders, the corrupted, and rogue MOAs" he thought to himself as he activated his Harkonar exoskeleton, and his power modules.  "Maybe this will be even more fun than I thought."

He headed out with the Doctor, looking out at the endless hills of snow.  He knew they wouldn't be attacked this close to the settlement, but that didn't stop him.  He had been ambushed by Tenno too many times during his service to count, he even lost his eye to one of them.  "Never again" he thought.  He snapped himself out of his thoughts and caught up with the doctor again and assumed his endless vigil.

Maniac looked at the others leaving, and looked back at the Nyx, putting the small box back in his bag, hurrying after the others, beckoning the Nyx as he went. He caught up to the doctor, slowing down on the side opposite of Kor, glancing at the commander's extensive armor and at the doctor's mask.

Kor notices the butcher known as Maniac look at him and the doctor.  "What do you need... butcher?" he asks, slightly annoyed, but still keeping a watch out for raiders.  He notices a little black box with a dial on it in his bag.  "What do you have there?" he asks, curious about the unknown box.

Maniac rolled his eyes, debating opening his mouth to talk, but instead signaled the commander to stop, grabbing a stick to write in the snow,

"ATTACHABLE SELECTIVE FIRE." He spelled, pointing at the dial on it's side, indicating the safety, semi-automatic mode, and full-auto spots on the dial, walking along after the doctor afterwards.

Commander Kor read what had been written on the snow.  "Attachable Selective Fire... interesting.  How would that work?"  The Commander knew a lot about firearms, and he knew a simple attachable package wouldn't do anything.  He wanted to ask Maniac how it worked, but decided that the butcher likely knew nothing about firearms as butchers use cleavers.  He wrote it off as a hoax or Void Magic and continued scanning the horizon as they moved along.

After weighing the situation, possible actions and possible outcomes, the Corpus slowly reached out and accepted the offered Tenno hand. If it weren't for his Crewman suit, the Excalibur's hand would have been covered in sweat. At the mention of the MOA the Engineer turned to look at the MOA standing close by, covered in a ruth blanket of scrap attempting to hide it's battle worn chassis

"Yeah, it's, um, been through alot. And due to the lack of, ah, resources I've had to... you know... improvise."

Cal smiled glad he accpeted his hand " well even so, it's looks impressive"

He looked over to see and overhear maniac and kor and thought " do all grineer treat butchers this way? Or just this one in general" looking back to the corpus

" so I don't believe I heard your name? I'm Cal" trying to keep a conversation with him and avoid getting to caught up in the dealings of the grineer

A couple of hours before the party left the settlement...

(Sorry, got carried away. If you don't feel like reading the whole thing, the last one is the most important one.)

Finally, after several months of drifting, Emereen would finally be on solid ground again. Well, that is if she survived entry into the planet's atmosphere. She wasn't going to lie to herself; the odds of survival weren't very high for her, but she still hoped to at least remain conscious long enough to know what another planet was like. She could feel the effects of DNA degeneration beginning as she felt her skin crack and body weaken. She was hungry and thirsty, her rations having expended the day before. All of this coupled with the uncomfortable heat she was enduring as the thin hull of the Dreg rattled against the pull of the planet. The shaking continued and intensified, eventually reaching the point at which she was certain her vessel would fall apart before crashing. Nevertheless, she held on to her hope. After several moments of violent shaking, she began to hear scraping and cracking outside the ship, the long branches of trees scratching and snapping at the hull of her Dreg. Then she felt a tremendous shock as her head snapped forward, then wrenched back, banging her head against the wall and throwing her into darkness. Later, she woke to the smell of smoke. Dazed and confused, she opened the hatch and spilled out onto the cold snow. She was delirious, bleeding, hungry, thirsty, and quickly freezing, but alive. She pushed herself to her knees and began to laugh. She had beaten the odds and managed to survive.

After she got a hold of herself, she chose a direction and started walking, unsure of what she would find. This was her first experience on another planet, and as hard as it was to focus on her surroundings as she slowly froze, her Grineer training jumpsuit providing little protection against the elements, she found herself overwhelmed with the gorgeous white peaks of the mountains and crystal clear icicles that shimmered above. Her sight-seeing, however, was cut short as she fell down a small pit. She collected herself at the bottom, then noticed a metal doorway. Looking around, she realized she had found herself in the middle of a crater, created by someone who had had the same fate as her, however with a different outcome. Climbing inside the wreck of what she had decided was a tenno Liset, she found the ship to be in complete disrepair. There was broken glass and jagged metal everywhere, and in the center of the room were two skeletons; one that appeared to be humanoid, the other appearing to be that of a kubrow. The sight saddened Emereen, even if they would have been rivals where they to have lived. She let her emotions fade as she began to search the ship for supplies. Any food she found had been eaten long ago by some animal, however she did find a package of ten DNA stabilizers, no doubt for the kubrow. No where else to look, she approached the ruined arsenal. Most of the weapons were either destroyed or barely out of reach, but she did manage to grab one; a small, silver and red boomerang. It was surprisingly small and didn't look at all like it could be thrown. She fiddled with it a bit, pushing and pulling at its blades. After a bit, the boomerang enlarged and reshaped, increasing its size and folding the blades out, making it appear as though it could actually be thrown. The boomerang, however also increased in weight and began to emit flames from the blades, causing her to panic and drop it with a resounding clang. Fearing she had attracted something, she quickly picked up the weapon and sprinted out of the wreck, clutching the boomerang close to her core to keep herself warm.

Hours later, Emereen had lost all feelings of whimsy for her surroundings as well as feeling in her hands and toes. She shivered violently against the buffeting wind, continuing towards the horizon. Sinking down into the knee deep snow; her body could no longer continue. The warmth supplied by the burning boomerang was no longer enough to keep her going as her vision began to cloud. Her body continued to tremor violently as she fell face down into the snow. In the moments before blacking out, two things happened. One, Emereen came to the conclusion that dying of hypothermia, blood loss, and DNA degeneration was a horrible way to go and that she hoped someone would come find her. Two, that there appeared to be some sort of settlement in the distance. It appeared to be made out of a ship wreck, and she could tell it was populated because she could see lights and smoke. Moments before darkness consumed her, she noticed the doors to the settlement open as a group began to leave, and they appeared to be traveling in her general direction...

"Vallis" The Corpus answered. "My parents, uh, named me after the region I was, um, born in."

The Corpus took a look around to see where his MOA stood. To prevent it from sinking too far into the snow on account of it's increased weight it was programmed to change it's position should it stand still for several seconds. The MOA now stood to his other side, although the direction it was seemingly watching intrigued Vallis, causing him to follow it's synthetic eyes. What he saw was a single patch of colour, different from and staining the otherwise perfect white landscape.

"Is... that a person?" He directed at nobody in particular.

Seth looked to the Corpus before looking down the scope of his Grinlock, looking towards the front before seeing the person and exclaiming "By Vay Hek! it is!" and Seth quickly and carefully rushed to check on this mysterious person, the snow crunching under his feet as he ran. Once he managed to reach to the Grineer Scorpion, he dropped next to her, holstered his rifle, quickly opened up his medical bag and began to treat her wounds and hopefully stabilise her condition.

"Queen's pray that your still alive after I am done" Seth replied under his breath, cursing slightly as the Doctor proceeded to inject Adrenaline into the Scorpion's chest.

Vallis contemplated Joining the doctor in the rush to reach the unconscious person. The thought that the action might improve his relations with the group, plus the idea he got, tipped the balance in favor of joining Seth. Ordering the MOA to follow in the Corpus dialect, the pair rushed to join the doctor. He was less nervous talking to the Grineer than the Warrior-god, although it still remained.

"Does she need to be heated? Because If so I can, um, help" He said, gesturing towards the MOA. "I can, uh, adjust the intensity of it's Fusion Beam, so it'll warm her but not, you know, kill her."

Maniac stopped to the side, watching them work on the fallen grineer. She looked to be a scorpion, but she seemed, altered, he shrugged it off, knowing there was nothing he could do, terrible with living things, his DNA stabilizers had previously only been able to help him, but that was an attempt on a Kubrow, so he wasn't quite sure. He stepped closer, crouching at looking closer at her, seeing the obvious signs of DNA degeneration, taking a DNA stabilizer from his pack and holding it out to the doctor, shrugging at the same time.

As the adrenaline entered her system, Emereen quickly sat up with a gasp, then proceeded to grab the side of her head as a sharp pain entered it. Now unearthed from the snow, the others got a better look at her appearance:

Her height was in between that of a Heavy Gunner and Scorpion, yet closer to a Scorpion since she didn't have robotics legs, or any implants. She had orange eyes and olive skin, a common characteristic of any Grineer, as well as long, black, matted hair that was wet with sweat and blood. Her hair was thin in some areas and her skin had begun to crack, signs of DNA destabilization. She wore an orange, full-body jumpsuit made out of the trade-marked ribbed fabric of the Grineer, giving her greater mobility but zero protection from practically anything, be it bullets or weather. The suit was riddled with scratches of varying sizes, further diminishing its ability to keep her warm.

Her vision started to return as well as her chills, causing her to hold her arms close to her body for warmth. The shock from her sitting up caused the metal boomerang to collapse again, extinguishing it's warmth giving flames. As she continued to tremor from the cold, she looked at the people around her, unsure of what to do. Voice shaky with cold and fear, she turned to the doctor beside her and said in the Grineer tongue, "Should I be afraid? Because I am."

Maniac didn't respond, but noticed her cold, tapping the shoulder of the corpus and indicating her shivers with a gesture, writing in the snow with the stick from earlier,

"Warm her. Slowly."

Knowing about the perils of quick cooling and heating.

Commander Kor walked over to the injured scorpion, and answered on the doctor's behalf "No, you do not need to be afraid, Doctor Raam is very capable"  He said in Grineer. He looked at her, she was obviously very young, as her skin was only just beginning to crack due to DNA degradation.  He looked at her jumpsuit and noticed it was one of the standard jumpsuits that the Grineer give to new soldiers.  Then he noticed her limbs, and what he saw surprised him.  They were her original limbs, and not the cybernetic prosthesis that all new Grineer receive after "birth".  He was very curious, but he decided that simple conversation was for the best.  So he asked her the simplest question of all  "What is your name?" He said in Grineer.
