And There Goes The Second Relay

Exactly. Who the hell cares. As long as we have 1 relay and enough for the void trader I couldn't give a S#&$ if we lost one or two. They are all the same and the ones that the void trader doesn't go on doesn't offer anything different.

You know, we don't know entirely how the void trader's inventory system works yet.

I'm going to laugh and cry if it turns out that each relay has its own special stock. And then I'm going to laugh at you people who said "it's okay if we lose relays!"

NO. DON'T YOU DARE EVEN SAY THAT, I'VE ALREADY DONE EUROPA 5 TIMES TO HELP KILL THIS THING, I WON'T LET MY FAVORITE RELAY DIE.

I've done it already over dozen of times.

[btw I've said exacly the same yesterday in the strata aftermath....

but fomorian versus vesper relay spawned in worst of times for my possibilities :/ ]

"AND THERE GOES THE SECOND RELAY" - False title click bait, and I fell for it. Please change that.

you must be fun at partys.

I am posting a prediction supported by math, the chance for exactly that happening is around estimated 95%.

I am sorry that your fragile heart is in danger by a topic title raising awareness to a potential problem in a general

discussion thread.

Well, since no one wants to try...

I dont think it is that no one wants to try, I did the mission between 5-10 times and now need to farm more materials for it.

I think it is more likely that DE is experimenting with the Fomorian hitpoints before they add the gamemode to the regular game.

If you visit any existing relay and enter the Concourse you will notice that it says "Concourse Leonov relay 1", so I assume in a few weeks we will get a Leonov Relay 2.

This isn't click bait... This isn't even false. It's fact. We are watching it did. Seriously why does this event do this to people?

It is a little bit click baity, in the same way as some well done news articles.

That's not a problem, though.  It's a strategy for getting someone to look at something and is quite legitimate, especially in this case as the content is a prediction with mathematical support.  It is mildly unfortunate click bait has a negative connotation because some of the terrible examples of it in news media, when a mild bit of click bait is merely writing a good and eye catching title.

no that is just the server node you are on as far as i know. If too many people are inside the relay it opens another instance, happened during void trader for example

To keep it short Europe Relay WILL die.

So how do i come to that conclusion?

-Total time 1D 6H .... 6H less than the other fomorians

-around 4H over and we are down by 10%

-it is losing HP slower than Eris

So if i am not totally mistaken we have 0 chance again. We would need 36H at the current rate.

That Europa is not accessible by many players, not many own decent modded equipment and

the reduced time make me question our POSSIBILITY to destroy the fomorian.

I have been playing this game for a long time, i farmed and am STILL farming and enjoying the game.

But i must say i don't really like Archwing, it feels unpersonalized.... and in general not really fun.

BUT i loathe to be put in an Hamster wheel of an UNWINNABLE mission. Freakin Christmas is coming and

i have more to do than dragging unskilled players through a mission designed for failure. I am one of the

few players that actually TRIED to save Strata.

But the same story as Strata repeats itself. The Strata Fomorian had double the health compared to the other

fomorian attacking at the same time.

MfG: an annoyed Tenno

I'm going to be referring to this event as The Kobayashi Maru from here on out.

I could use a more reputable source than this...

Especially since reddit has nothing about that.

well i doubt it too, but i thought i shoule relay the"rumor" perhaps it is true. Some believe in Santa Claus too ^^

It's called a prediction, and judging from the post above your's, an accurate one.

No. The title states that it HAS happened. A prediction would have said it will happen. It's dishonest when it hasn't happened yet. When I saw the title I thought the relay had been destroyed. It has not.

Dear Sir, i have made avaible a roughly calculated estimate of how much time we NEED and how much we HAVE.

Since the NEED is easily DOUBLE from what we HAVE, i do not need to be a fortune teller to see where this goes.

Or do you also call the weather forecast dishonest for telling you that there is a high chance of heavy weather?

And weather forecasts are often wrong. Also, they don't make their forecasts as if though it already happened which is what your title states. I totally thought the relay was already gone but there's almost a day left. But whatever.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAAHHAA.. I'm sorry, but all these threads with RIP Strata, RIP this relay, etc, are hilarious.

Do you not think that DE had this possibility planned from the get go? Can you honestly defend the need for 14 relays  6 relay when people only really populated Venus, and the now gone Earth relay? (Which of course will just have users moving to another relay)

Taking things wayyy too serious. Have you seen the ghost towns that the other relays are?

Besides I'm sure we can rebuild down the line.. They can have my 4mil alloy plates, and i'll throw 500 o-cells at it.

Well, to be honest, the Vesper relay on Venus was only really populated by a lot of players because it was both the stress test node and the first location for the void trader.

The masses of players are going to follow the trader as he moves from relay to relay, so I expect to see the next relay he pops up on to be like Vesper is now. Maybe not to the same massive extent, since Vesper still has being the test node going for it, and people are stubborn when it comes to change, but I do expect to see a migration of the population corresponding with the void trader's appearances.

Becuase most MMOs have a holiday event?

I guess...  Maybe my perspective as a family man differs from that of a student etc. who's on winter recess for the holidays.  (not saying you're a student, nor saying anything is wrong with that.)

I dunno man I'm only logging on to complete my 15 points.  While I do want to have one relay left to meet Baro Ki' Teer once in a blue moon, I really can't grind out the formorian kills to keep our relays up, etc.  Just don't have the time this year with family and stuff.

Given any other time of the year I'd love to compete in the event.
