Noob? indeed not , they want the gold like us ,they don't want to spend time and skip step why not if they can ? People who do not buy plat's can thanks them for allowing us to do trading and earn plats and use for whatever we want ,you do need plat buyer because DE have to pay people and keep game updated and free , you also need no payer , so you have huge community to play with , and with the trade system both can play and enjoy all the feature as long people try .

not really. i mean, i think that grinding for parts(if its for a wep or warframe) is kinda big part of the game. but buying stuff that are really hard to obtain and are kinda boring to farm isn't bad in my opinion. but in the end do what you want, its your money and as long you are having fun...

u dont drink bear to support the brewery ... f2p players may dont have a real life, but everyone who pays the overpriced stuff here supports them

while f2p players keep the game populated on the other hand, and thus help the puplisher to sell his overpriced stuff ...

u all lose

I think they are noob at least some of them, depends on how you play really.

Yeah it's a terribly "noob-ish" thing to do to judge others without really knowing them or knowing all there is to know about life.

Let's see...  1000p buys me a maxed primed mod, which takes a 2 weeks to a month of solid playing to max out.  1000p without discounts is roughly $50 when bought at the highest tier of $4300 for $199. (exact is like $46.27)  Working in real life for 1-10 hours is enough to pay for that depending on how much one gets paid.

I only buy plat when it's discounted at 50% or better and I buy it to support the game's development, while rewarding another player for their hard work, while saving myself some grind.

It's a win-win for everyone.  I guess I'm a noob for being part of stimulating/growing the Warframe economy?  XD

Hardly! It's all a matter of how you wish to spend time. In my case, I can make more money working an extra 12h shift than what I spend in a prime access, meaning if I were to try grinding, I'd better be done before 12h or so (and we all know that's not how it usually goes)... plus I get accessories and 90d boosters...

Hey people invest "a lot" into barging chips now for selling purposes later, its like the stock market it can either go up later or down but people will keep as many full sets as they can for selling later and making possibly millions of platinum in the process. But again its all about gambling for the people who do it and the rest such as myself....I collect because we might not see it again in a long time.

I have seen so many people bragging about how they don't spend a dime on wf.

recently join wf when mesa was introduced.

I was called noob because I got them good looking accessories when I was mr 2.

Farm my mesa and rng was good to me. And they keep saying im paying for mesa. Because my mr was so low.

and it's hit me. Is it so wrong to buy plat.

im helping the game.

im contributing.

Warframe was enjoyable. And its so shameful to those player who spent nothing demanding all sorts of things.

Was so frustrated on how low minded people are now a days.

At least I let it out :(

It's just you are considered a lazy dood.

except kubrow. Still can't make that lotus breed tho.

and yeah some on colour picker and accessories. Heheh

Time is money. If you can make $500 a day irl and dump $200 that month for platinum or prime accessories then go ahead and do it.

Personally I haven't paid a cent for the game, I merchant for my platinum.

A good tip to people is buy a bit of platinum to start the game with to get you on your feet, play the game and sell extra stuff you obtain. And buy prime access packs if you feel like it, prime accessories is probably your best bet as all the other stuff is obtainable by farming.

Play the game how you want and if anyone says anything about you spending money tell them to go get #*($%%@

Truly decent players around here would know better than to treat you purely by MR and buying plat alone.

There is nothing wrong with buying platinum and spending it on what you like. It doesn't matter if you get the good gear earlier compared to many others, because the fact still stands that you have to master using them yourself. You still become experienced with the game just like everybody else, and the fact that you're supporting DE along the way is a massive bonus. *sends virtual hi-5*

(I'd ramble on about my thoughts on this subject, but it'd finish a book by the time I'm done)

Spend your money on the things you like nomatter how pointless they are.

I know plenty of my friends who throw 100s of dollars out every friday night just to get drunk and dont get anything in return rather than socialising.

Hell one of them lost 500$ in a casino a couple of days ago. Look at all the plat you coulda gotten from that!

You buying things in warframe will help the developers with their salaries and they can continue to develop this really nice game and the free 2 players can continue to stay and make the community blossom.

Also. a 100$ dollars a friday night will get you drunk for 1 day. a 100$ in warframe will get you a bunch of stuff that will last until you quit or the game shuts down.

You decide which of those seem like the better alternative. I also do not blame the people who choose the first one as I also do spend money on town visits myself at times. :-)

But Spending money on things that you find fun and makes you happy is never wasted money nomatter how pointless it may seem to another. So just let them release their steam cause they themselves cannot afford what you can afford!

Well imo

If someone bragging about playing 2000 hour and never spent a single buck for the game

From my perspective if i done that it nothing to be pround of instead i should be more grateful for people that keep spending dollar on this game so this company can live on and make this game better

^ +1 Spoken like a champ.

Also like to add tips when trading in-game:

* Patience is key; may take time to finally find right buyer/seller

* Treat customers accordingly; you may encounter some well mannered fellas or wild berries (which may or not be poisonous)

* Aim to your benefit; whether is sell or buy test the waters to see what price you'll be able sell/buy/trade

Speaking of trade,

* Try to be open with changing the deal; who knows maybe you can get a better deal than what you asked for.

Overall, is a nice alternative when short of monies in real life for x reasons and got time to burn a bit. In my experience so far, this is one of the rarest games I made profit/deals out of for what I need/want. :3 Just remember that market is a mini-game overall but don't forget your manners. ~ Cheers Tenno

Buy whatever you want whenever you want and play the game the way you want. As long as you're supporting your team effectively in groups you can do no wrong. Anything after that is just opinionated flakes. I always buy PA, just because I want to do it. I like the game and support it.

I've spent a bunch of money on this game over the 2 years I've been playing or however long its been, not rich or anything I just rather spend money and support this game than buy the latest crappy triple A game out there lol... I'ts sad that when a game like Destiny I'm done with in like a month and Warframe I'm still frequently paying after 2+ years, not sad actually, more like props to DE.

Granted there are other games I wanna play like Bloodborne coming up and Xenoblade X next month and then Witcher 3 after that in May but seriously that's like a game a month, and those are pretty much the only games I'm looking forward to this year, and in between all of those games I always play Warframe even if I take a break here and there... damn man I'ts probably like the single longest I've ever spent playing a game, I'm at like 750-800 hours or something, aside from like Monster Hunter which I have like a couple thousand hours on over all the games (doesn't really count though because its multiple games) Warframe is probably my most played game ever... again, that says a lot about the game.

Uh , buying plat doesent make you a noob , a noob is someone who just started playing the game , noob is so used as an insult that people forgot its not...noob means newbie , thats all .

When I cut my teeth in MMOs, we had two classifications; Newb and Noob. Newb was someone who clearly hasn't had enough time to actually grasp all the concepts and nuances in a game(Like how elements combine, or how to manipulate Sentinel precepts) and weren't significantly far into the game. Noob is the anti-thesis to that, in the sense that they have enough time, resources, and experience to know these things, but choose not to broaden their horizons(Like knowing that a mod is detrimental to them, but using it anyway).

The distinction is very clear, and i've got no problem with people who're clearly starting to cut their teeth; We were all there at one time..

On topic though, support is support, be it helping others, spending money for plat, or doing other things; All that matters is doing your part to make the game awesome, and to those who see 'MR2 with Mesa' and shout 'noob'? Yeah... They're newbies, not noobs.
