Spooling+Burst Weapons Need A Touch Up

The damage output from these weapons are silly.

Soma and Gorgon's very large clipsize allows for players to spam 16-20 damage shots at an incredable rate. Causing most players to be killed in a second or less. Beacuse the clipsizes are so large it nullifies dodging these.

Weapons like the Sybaris and Kraken are... As much as I love them, they are silly. When you factor in the high burst time, your looking at weapons that can easily take first place in a match.

Soma P was already nerfed, his ROF and Clip size its ok, 16 damage, and u want it to deal less damage?

Grimlock, the Soma/Prime are still an issue. Im not a super good PVPer, but after switching my braton to the soma my kills increased by 300-400%

that is because the weapon suits better into your gameplay style, soma is not broken since it was nerfed, however dual cestra could have less damage or a smaller magazine

Just have all weapons autofire at max firerate while mouse button is held down.

 

The ability to clickspam a semi auto weapon or a burst weapon with the right rhythm is not a skill. It is a nuisance that strains the hand (future Repetitive Strain Injury in the making) and the mouse ($$$).

Spooling speed is decaying after some time without shooting, maybe make that time gap smaller so you need to wind up again more often?

On another thread about Automatic Weapons I suggested to sligthly reduce the normal damage and reduce to 0.25 (ore less) the headshot multiplier, just because with these guns it's easier to headshot a target in a rapid sequence.

The Soma is something ridicle, while other guns have low clips and need to reload often, you can hold LMbutton and make a massacre with no hindrance nor penality. Increase its reload speed to 5 seconds to create a large window of vulnerability, nerf its damage and fire ratio or reduce its clips size.

soma is ok, its a light machingun, you are supposed to be supressed by his presence, if you show your face you deserve a considerable disadvantage, if you catch it by surprise he cant reach his max fire rate before you kill him, i dont think that soma needs more nerfing

Let's not make the TTK stupidly high... again. There is no point to using burst weapons over semi autos right now, so if anything they need a buff. Spool up weapons have a disadvantage of low damage, a spool up, and long reload in favor of high fire rate and large magazine size, they are fine where they are in general.

If you have two Excals run around a corner, One running braton, one running gorgon. Assuming both have the same skill the one running braton will win. The Somas do less DPS they're just more accurate with better spool up.

 

Sybaris is better than latron closer up. Kraken does need to be looked at.

The Sybaris is good? The burst, while fast enough for PvE, is very slow for PvP. If someone has the skills to hit a target that is coptering at a 90 degree angle to their line of fire with both shots... good for them, because that's pretty awesome.
