Primed Reach Worth Investing In?

As the title says. I was thinking of putting it on my bo prime, tipedo, and one of the whip weapons. Is the range increase that massive? Thanks in advance for the advice!

Well, the most beneficial effect that I know of would be putting maxed primed reach onto Orthos Prime, which will give it enough melee range to kill nullifiers from outside their bubbles.

well considering the normal reach is only a max of 60% and the prime reach goes to i think its 165% at max.....i would say its worthwhile

yes it is, use it on big based range melee (galatine, atterax, jat kittag, etc..)

It's good on almost every melee weapon ( except maybe whips ) so I'd say yes, it's worth it.

 

If you like going melee-only then the extra range will help with nullifier bubbles, especially when you rely on self-buffs like Vex Armor/Elemental Ward or Warcry.

You get almost triple the range of your melee slashes.

It's like x2.65 more range when maxed. Love it. Use it on my Galatine, Nikana, and  Kronen mostly, but it does work nicely on quite a few other weapons as well.

While melee range is still bugged at the moment, I can confirm that this mod still works fine. Put it on a long range weapon and you can see the difference. This mod also allows you to snipe with the Redeemer.

Absolutely. I love hitting enemies from 50 feet away with Jat Kittag.

I'm still absolutely convinced that the only way to build Jat Kittag is with maxed primed reach. 90% of the weapon is in sending everything within 20 meters to the moon and back.

Atterax and Primed Reach 8/10 can clear the entire area of the Void defense pod and then some with Coiling Viper (critting for 50k with Chroma too), so yes, worth.

Orthos prime is fun to use as a ranged weapon.
