This is incredibly important. Their damage is hugely dependent on multishot, and in most cases, they have very small magazines. Well, supposedly it was a bug initially, and they simply chose to 'let it slide' all this time since it was interesting. Honestly, I've contemplated this exact change in the past... I thought it would be more interesting from a balancing perspective, and would also make more sense logically; I mean, how exactly are we making this magical second bullet? Then I gave it some more thought, and realized the names of the mods Barrel Diffusion and Split Chamber. Those names seem to imply that the barrel of the weapon itself has some kind of divider that splits each round in half, and that's what the magical extra round is. That made a lot of sense to me. Return of Charge Attacks • Was hoping for them to make it into U17, but it didn't happen due to Parkour 2.0 • Will definitely make it in for U18 • The current plan is that Charge attacks will be performable regardless of whether melee is drawn • The current plan is to have two different charge attacks per weapon Mastery Rank Changes • There will be large shifts in Mastery Rank requirements based on weapon power • Don't expect Boltor Prime to be Mastery Ranks 2 any longer! DameDameNingen Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Personally, I think it would have been better if they made it so multishot divides the damage between the original and extra projectile just like weapons with innate multishot such as: Akjagara, Brakk, Detron and every shotgun. But then it might as well just be a +status chance mod. Which we actually need, since pure status mods are so completely worthless atm, but surely it would be better to just buff them? Honestly, while I think this change is sort of a step in the right direction, I can't really see it working out well. An obligatory mod doesn't stop being obligatory just because it's massively inconvenient and annoying to use. On the other hand, if it leads them fixing enemy armour scaling and/or buffing reload speed and mag capacity mods then I'm all for it. Also i can allready see whole bunch game breaking bugs coming along this change when game you were supposed to use 2 shot from mag but whole weapon has only one shot in mag. Heck probably each bow draw has 90% chance cause game crash or breaking to game. This is just silly. DE may be occasionally mad but they're not completely incompetent.
