Epicagemo
Draco: 70s New tilesets: 65-75s Bad day in the Liset: 70-80 in the basement Good day in the liset: Navigation Area: 50-60, Bad day hits 70 but never higher Old tilesets/solo: usually 50-70 But what I wanted to compare was the void (@ t1e) and the liset It's a 20 Degree difference, which is the issue. taiiat
i don't know what you're talking about. in your images: in your Liset, your Processor is ~30-35°C. in the Mission, your Processor is ~35-40°C. a completely normal Temperature Range. there is nothing wrong here. ACorpse
He's talking about the GPU. It could be the passing ship rendering doing it. Depends on whether they're properly set up for LOD.
Ixxolos
Pretty sure he/she is talking about the GPU temps and not the CPU temps. I also notice a significant GPU temp increase whilst i am in the liset. Not that i take note of the exact temps in this situation but the GPU fan kicks up a gear to the point it can easily be heard. This as far as i know has been an issue for quite some time.
Pythadragon
I believe the following is happening: While in Liset, nothing is holding the GPU back. The gpu runs at max speed and reaches a higher temperature because very few cpu tasks are happening. While in game, the CPU is holding the GPU back. The gpu runs at less than max speed and reaches a lower temperature because many cpu tasks are happening (enemies, ai, bullets, traps, ect). Traps in void missions in particular are a huge hog on cpu resources, which is why the change is so great here. This really shouldn't be an issue on a modern gpu, which should be able to take 90c+. But if it bothers you, turn on V sync or use the new frame limit function to prevent your gpu from running so fast. https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/529282-update-1743-max-framerate-option/ Edited September 17, 2015 by Pythadragon
