I mean... at least with the Tau there more or less tolerant of what you want to do, if you live with them of course. Don't want to worship the Emperor "k". Want to study new tech? "Alright we won't stop you." Friggin martian laws. Even with the badass Imperial Guards and Spaces Marines, the civilian have it rough, majority of the planets are overpopulated and and tech is stagnating. Knowing that even if humanity build a spaceship to try to leave it's not the planet but the whole universe falling apart would make me just party hard and overdose on something.
