My alliance mates do it because they picked it up off my clanmates, and my clanmates do it because I'm notorious for being essentially the clan 'mom', mothering and guiding new players through the beginning of the game, helping anyone that needs it, my tendency to use pet names like ''hun'' ''sweetie'' and ''dear'' , and disciplining when need be.
