Banshee.
Her damage multiplier with Resonance is frankly quite insane.

Nova makes for a very easy to use sniper though.
Since a slow MPrime essentially makes enemies sitting ducks.

Ivara is better for ze bows, but you can make a fine sniper out of her too.

As you have prolly seen from the tilesets and level design, there are objects, derbis and tubes and vents and other stuff put on strategic points to obstruct the line of sight for sniper range attacks. Best tilesets for sniping can be found in archwing. Ivara thought has been designed for this cause you can position her with dashwire arrow for sniping advantage points but there are some limits: zipline length is max 100 meters from your point in an angle of 40°.

By raw virtue of her kit, Ivara is pretty much purpose built for sniping.  Banshee however has the tools to maximize damage while sniping as well as some CC and other things.  Volt and Loki as well lend themselves decently to it.

Everyone is saying Banshee and Ivara...

but seriously, no one even mention Mesa?

Damage storage, shooting buff, actually capable of standing still sniping.

Anyways, it's General D, let's not get serious.

depends on what you like to emphasize on with your Sniping Build.

if your aim is to make sure every hit is a kill, a Nova or Banshee are great, as they can slow or paint targets and make them vulnerable.

if you want to be an invisible Sniper, you could use Loki or Ivara, though make sure to relocate every so often, as even when invisible, enemies will track your shots and shoot at where you last fired, so keep on the move and keep them guessing.

if you want to just make sure you don't get hit, a Frost or Volt can place Defenses that stop attacks. Volt can also relocate faster with his Speed ability.

a lot of frames have something that can help with Sniping, and I'm glad somebody is trying to give the Snipers some love. you should experiment and see what works for you!

Try mentioning how Banshee has a few pretty big weaknesses, most people lash out and call you a bad player.

I get what you're saying. I think people forget not all frames cover all ground or have 100% positive attributes. Banshee being very frail with no real way to hide her self outside of silence and good range. I get that.

Personally a big fan of Volt for sniping for a few reasons:

1) Electric Shield is a great damage buff + defense

2) If you're like me and don't prefer super high levels of zoom on your sniper weapons but still want the extra zoom bonus, Speed lets you snipe using less zoom. You don't even have to move, just activate it while zoom in and aim more freely on heads.

Her damage buff is far too low for a dedicated sniper.
A sniper build requires things to die in 1 hit, so the frame must have abilities that greatly increase the damage of said sniper weapon.
