Abenoki Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Its been a long time since Venus has seen any love, and really I would love to see DEs take on the incredibly hostile environment that is the planets surface. The planet has acid rain/clouds with high pressure and temperature could make for some interesting tiles. Maybe even somehow incorporate the atmospheric super rotation in and even perhaps a new armored enemy unit thats originally a sort of repair man that works on the shielded corpus structures. When you go outside theres a chance of acidic rain that will damage your shields over time. Obviously the corpus like to occupy these VERY harsh environments because of defensive advantages and probably to show off tech wise a bit. Ragequit. you seem to be under the impression rain/heat would be a one hit kill lol who in their right mind would do that? XP DoT doesnt have to be massive amounts of dmg, just in the acid rain/heat ticks down your shields a little. It happens other places, its not that big a problem and youd obviously tailor it to the low level expected there.
