I mean, it's not like they'll ever add something that requires it, right? I hope the sarcasm was legible.

I hope the sarcasm was legible. it's more the fact that stocking up on nigh-unfarmable resources is just a reminder that Warframe is no longer a good game, where grinding to 'build' pretty models with decent animations just to do some more grinding with them is all there is to do. Second, planning ahead doesn't mean it's "no longer a good game."

--RV--Meta
Well you've got roughly 3-ish months to farm the VPA parts and the materials needed to craft them before you can't outright buy them anymore, and a lot longer than that before it all gets Vaulted (if Vaulting is still a thing by then). Grind may be grindy as hell, but time is timey and wimey. Where's the obligatory guy with the Vauban Prime avatar saying that it's not that hard to farm the new stuff? IamRageypoo
I'd just like them to release more alerts in light of this new requirement for Vauban Prime.

What makes you think that anyone who happens to see a nitain alert was sitting around waiting for it to pop up? Let me rephrase. Not everyone can drop whatever it is their doing, whether it be work or school, to get on Warframe and do an alert mission. Some people need to make time in order to play, and sometimes (most of the time) that isn't during a Nitain alert. To put it simply, I should be able to acquire what I want when I want. Or more specifically, when I CAN. Not when the game tells me I can. Especially when said item is a key component in most new content these days. Notice I didn't say >Sees Nitain Alert >Starts Warframe I play warframe normally. When I happen to see a nitain alert that's a quick & easy mission (no def, surv, mob def, excav) I play that alert. I have 50+ nitain now. Nitain is rarely needed. Just play the occasional mission and it'll build up over time. If a player waits until he has to have it, then it's a hassle. Vanthenos
You know that Nitain has a chance to drop in reactor sabotage missions if all three caches are found!? So why waiting for an alert?
