0 torint_man Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 You cannot reduce the energy cost of channeled abilities below 25% of the base cost per second. At max drain, resonating quake takes 32 e/s. With the maximum possible drain reduction, that goes to 8 e/s. Fun fact, the way the channel cost formula works with duration means you can have less than 100% duration, but efficiency past 175% still counts towards reducing the drain, down to the floor of 25% of base drain. Because in that case it seems you have (too) low Duration, as that stat factors into constant drain abilities. At 175% Efficiency you need at least 100% Duration for minimal drain though you can also go Holhog whole hog and use a full 190% Efficiency, where a mere 40% Duration is going to do the trick. Resonating Quake is always going to drain Energy like crazy, though, that's the (more than fair) trade-off to locking down / massacring the entire tile :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chanelling abilities take Duration and Efficiency into calculation for how much energy is consumed per second. Try balancing between Duration and Efficiency. Or mod like NinjaZeku said.
