Energy color on WAR sword

Does anyone know why the energy color(blade) of WAR keeps fading away in-game? 

I've tried numerous different colors, but they still do the same. 

I also have a screenshot but I don't know how to post in on here

This sword just work like that. You can't do anything about it.

It's War's mechanic. The light fades away unless you swing the sword or keep it channeled. It's intended.

The Energyparts of the War are only visiable if you use it (attack with it) or if you use channeling. If its on your back or you don't attack/channel the Energy will slowly fade away until its gone.

Wasn't like this when its released and im still sad they changed it because the War looked badass when it was holstered (espacially in combination with the pakal syandana). Now not so much anymore. Still hope they will change that again but i doubt it.

The energy blades "retract" when not in use. That's all.

But... I do SEE people (specially in relays, but tend to notice it in missions as well) that have their War holstered, yet brimming with full fabulous light.... T_T

I think a better question is, why can't I choose the color of the middle part of it? I can choose the energy "blade" part, but the middle glows always yellow. Why?

War just does that it glows your energy color when you swing it or channel it :)
