Is this a good build?

I would go for a more of this kind of build is you don't have blood rush and body count:

Corrosive is a great / IMO the best choice for an all-round element
but Blast is really only good on a high-status weapon, go pure Heat or Cold instead.

Jagged Edge ... meh, barring maybe the 120% / 165% IPS Mods, elemental damage is where it's at,
you could instead e.g. use Spoiled Strike for more damage or slot in (unranked!) Life Strike for heals.

I am guessing you don't have a lot of the regular staple mods?

What I would suggest, is taking off reach and replacing it with Body Count (If you don't have it, another dual stat elemental, like Virulent Scourge)

If you have Berserker, throw it on in place of fury, if you don't leave it as is.

Max out Fever Strike and Shocking Touch and remove North Wind

Try to get an Iron Pheonix, since its the easiest sword stance to farm.

Then you can use this.

I personally would use this, and swap around the last mod based on what you need. Blast is pretty meh - it's mostly good against Ancients, but Corrosive is better against them, and you need a high status chance to reliably proc the knockdown to make Blast good against anything else.

If your weapon has a decent crit chance, Blood Rush/Berserker/Body Count are an amazing combo - you will continually stack up crit chance with Blood Rush, Body Count will keep you combo multiplier up easier (which will allow you more base damage as well as higher Blood Rush stacks), and Berserker will trigger more and more often giving you up to +75% attack speed. And in case you didn't know, there's something called "Red Crits" - if you have 120% crit chance and 2.0 crit damage, you have a 100% chance to deal 2x the normal attack damage, and a 20% chance to hit a "red crit" and deal more than your base crit damage; and this can stack up. 340% Crit Chance means you have a 100% chance to deal a Red Crit 3 steps above your crit damage, and a 40% chance to deal a red crit 4 steps above.

 

To give you an idea of how strong this build is - Fragor Prime has 130 total base damage. With this build, after only 5 hits (very easy to get), I am at a 1.5 combo multiplier, and am hitting Red Crits for over 10 000 damage per swing. And since every hit is a crit, my Berserker never goes away.

Pressure Point, Organ Shatter, Berserk, Body Count, Blood Rush, 90% Elemental x2. Goes in basically every general melee setup now days.

You generally have 1 slot open, most the time I used Primed Reach.

If you don't have it I'd recommend getting Blood Rush + Body count if you want to play full Melee. Quick attack (occasional) melee is a different build.

Naramon Focus Passives are also stupid strong for melee esp on frames who can buff their own damage, My Banshee red crits for 1.4 million, Saryn 800k, Chroma 1.2 million at 3x combo multiplier.
