if we're talking about best warframe (generally)

 

then we would be looking at jack of all trade warframes.

Among these would include Rhino, Oberon, Nezha and Equinox who can fill functionally all roles (cc, support, damage, tank). Of course none of these guys are the best at any given function, but they're flexible.

Out of the 4 I would pick Equinox for having the better cc out of all of them, followed by Nezha for probably having the strongest support utility with his new augment. Rhino is probably who I'd rank 3rd and is probably the most flexible out of all of them.

Frost can handle nearly anything.  He's tough, has crowd control, and an emergency damage evasion power.  He's also easily the best at static defense missions.

For higher level play, the essential warframes are:

Frost

One of the three invisible frames or maybe a Limbo

A non damage based crowd control frame

Maybe a tough guy frame, although I have been doing just fine without one lately

IMO nova prime, because she is pretty....but there are probably more frames (morframes if you will ) that are more fun to play.

Best frame in Warframe is Rebecca's.......oh wait you were talking about the the Tenno. Best Warframe is Frost Prime for playability in most if not all missions. **sits back and sips coffee and waits for the my frame is better replies. ?

It really just depends on whatever frame you like best. I enjoy Frost Prime, Inaros, and Titania.
