Glaxion vs Ignis

Is there any reason to use the Glaxion over the Ignis?

I built a Glaxion then realized I already had an Ignis.

Higher status chance. You could build it easily as a control weapon, to knockdown everything in sight.

Otherwise, just keep it in hoping for a buff like they did with Ignis.

glaxion is very fun status build wepon. i got very good riven for its with + 130% status chance... so yeah

Glaxion is one of the worst possible weapons in the game due to its special ability to use 25 ammo per second and deal damage only 1-2x per that much ammo. 

Combined with very small base dmg, low crit chance, low status chance, small range, beam inaccuracy, it makes it the worst primary weapon in WF.

But it is undeniably one of most fun-type weapons. And good looking one too...just shame its so weak.

Looks-wise, the Glaxion is an a-Mei-zing weapon. Status too, but I think the Pox beats it when it comes to status application.

Also, the only way we're gonna see an Ignis/Supra-like update/buff on this gun is if enough people bug DE for it. Doubt that will happen again.

True but I also doubt this will happen now since the introduction of Rivens.

If you want to apply status on single things, take the Glaxion.

If you want AoE, actual damage, or even-slightly-sane ammo economy, take the Ignis. Don't expect it to proc a lot unless you're hosing down crowds, though.

glaxion is good for status, and if u use carrier or mutation mods its ammo problem is gone, i dont use both tbh, but i have them and i will tell u glaxion is better on endgame, but ignis is awesome for trash missions (i.e alerts, invasions, stuff u need to rush)
