Focus Tree Maxing Question

If I max the basic ability for each of the Focus trees, does I increase the cooldown time or decrease it? I don't want to invest in my Zenurik's basic ability if it increases the duration of the cooldown, since lower dura is better.

So basically : If I level up the Void Pulse, the cooldown duration goes up. I just checked the Wikia for it....soooo, sorry for my being a lazy fella xD

Any of the other ones don't decrease the ability cooldown, so the only thing worth getting is mastery of the tree. Link here for more info for Zenurik tree : http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Zenurik

Abilities will increase the cooldown IF you select them. You can level up abilities without selecting them though. But most folks probably already know that.

You can't deactivate the base ability.

Upgrading focus abilities does not increase the cooldown, but adding more skills will.

As an example, upgrading Basilisk Flare to the maximum level will have the same cooldown if it was not upgraded. Adding Stone Shape will increase cooldown.

As far as I know the ranks of core and ways have no effect on the CD. So, you could max rank the core of each and their CD will stay the same as base. Only when you select other ways within the tree, baring the mastery which reduces it, will the CD become longer.

if u only max it they will not increse cooldown.. only if they are active cooldown will be longer.. so u wish to keep  school at optimal best skill to keep cooldown as low as  u can
