Avast detecting malware from forums?

I have no idea what even triggers this, nor do I know what the object is.

Any explanation or solution would be much appreciated.

most likely a false positive.

if 1 scanner is over sensitive its norton and that one gives no flag

Either it's a false flag (which is likely, because the forums are clean) or you have some sort of malware.

I use Avast and never had the warning on the forums.  I've been using the free version since 2003 and never been infected.

According to Avast's forums there was an issue with false positives regarding this worm that should now be fixed with a recent update.  When an AV program blocks a threat you can often find useful information about it on the web by searching for it by name in this case under the 'Infection' title.

I'm using Avast on my home PC because it's free and seems to be well rated by websites and users.
