[fixed] clan emblem went bad

can anyone help me, I'm new in making emblems and I think this went horribly wrong, this is my emblem I sent, and this is what i ended up with. can someone help me please I'm a solo clan so at least I won't be embarresed, but I would like to fix this, can someone please help?

It looks like you resized to 128x128 and then just set all the white pixels to transparent.  This is not going to give you a good result because it will leave fully opaque in-between pixels around the edge of your shape.  Is that the problem you're talking about?

If you have a higher resolution version then I can help you get the transparency right.  Probably the best way is to add a little white glow around the edges, which will not only hide any lingering opaque pixels but it will also make it show up better in game.

Basically you had the emblem the wrong size and it was autoresized to fit and badly.

I made a glow version, but you'll have to trust me that itll look better in game

wait, is this something new cause back in the day it turned out like it turned out. You had to pay again. 

Cause if you can get your stuff looked at to fix a goofy result im going to send a ticket. But it will probably be ignored cause i did mines back when this started.

wow that's alot more response than i expected, thanks I think the resizing could be better yeah, so I dunno I would like some glow too i guess, also this is the source material which used for the emblem

I'm thinking of making my own clan emblem at some point or another and I'd like to ask some questions from a member of DE staff directly.

1. If a clan emblem is rejected, do you gain back the money?

2. Is there anyone I can contact before sending a clan emblem so they can check for anything worth rejecting?

3. Where should I go to ask about such things in the future when I do decide to make one and ask for emblem feedback?

The answer to your first question is on the clan emblem submission page. They don't refund you if they reject your emblem, but they'll only reject your emblem if it has copyrighted content or if it's offensive or if it violates the terms of service/eula. So, in other words, don't use copyrighted content, don't use a Nazi swastika or racial/sexual slurs, and don't use porn.

Do OCs of a franchise that is copyrighted count? e.g. I can't use pony characters but there is an OC I like made from that fandom that I might consider using and the author of said OC would have no problem with me using it to my knowledge.

e.g. a character made by a fan or the fandom and is in no way affiliated with the show aside from the character being based upon it.

Kinda like Clem and John Prodman  but those two are canon now so not sure how that works.

They *do* say you can check your emblem with support ahead of time, and get support to change it if it turned out badly without charging plat again, but it's hidden deep in their support site:

We are reasonable people and if you are unsure about whether any given image will be approved, you can submit your image in a support ticket before uploading and we will let you know if the image is likely to be rejected or not. If the image you uploaded is rejected, you can submit a ticket to our support desk with an alternate upload. As long as your alternate upload does not contain any offensive or copyrighted imagery, we will upload it for you manually at no extra cost.

It's unfortunate that page is so hard to find.  It's not readily accessible from, and more than a little bit contradicted by, the actual emblem submission page.

My theory is that it never hurts to try.

The official documentation includes the following line:

Yeah, I've simulated the effects for a few people using Photoshop before. That was my very first emblem.

Multiple of my emblems are actually used as demonstrations in the holyicon thread you reference, which was made a month after my original emblem mistake. I still go brighter than I should, but I like bloom.
