Corrosive procs

Been noticing some weapons like my Tigris Prime and Synoid Gammacor dealing Corrosive procs on enemies despite being modded for Radiation and Viral.

I don't really understand how this can happen, is it a bug or have I completely misunderstood how status effects work?

Furax deals Viral procs without any mod. :V

Or at least it used to tho extremely rare.

only thing i can think of but is probably completely wrong ( im not very smart :D ) is that it could be a bug due to sortie damage maybe elemental enhanced missions etc

Do you have Rivens with elemental damage on your weapons?

Because that's resulted in screwed up elemental combinations ever since Rivens were introduced.

Thanks guys, turns out I'm just stupid and mixed up the Corrosive and Viral Proc symbols.

I'm just going to hide in a corner.
