It's unlikely all frames will eventually be primed. As Warframe continues development, new Warframes are continuing to be added. At some point development of Warframe will end, and unless every existing Warframe has been primed at that point, there will be ones that will never be primed.

18 of the 33 current Warframes have been primed. Assuming the current trend of one Warframe being primed every 3 months continues, all the Warframes we have now will have primed variants within the next four years. (Unless newer ones get priority and alter the schedule.)

There is some discussion lore-wise whether or not certain frames could possibly have primed versions, but DE's position is that any of them are possible.

Just remember, Umbra is not Prime (Excal, Lato, Skana Prime are Founders Exclusives that only were obtainable from a higher level of the Founders Program/Initiative pack that came out a long while back), and so may have a unique difference that would set this series of frames apart.

In addition, if a Founder happens to get Umbra, they'll be able to use Excal Prime cosmetics on him and so can confuse people by making Umbra look like Prime or, for even more confusion, the normal Excalibur.

What makes me curious is, what would Chroma look like, if/when he gets Primed, since his pelt is a Sentient Conculyst.

Potentially, yes. Realistically, probably not. Eventually, the game will likely come to an end at some point and unless they start releasing more Prime Frames with PA or doing more PAs every year, they'll never get caught up.

Maybe mechanical armor? He does kinda look like a knight under the pelt right?
