UncleWalrus
Given Onkko's connection to the Unum and the Unum's apparent fondness for Gara, I'd expect Onkko to at least make passing mention of the fact you've remade Gara and are using her, even if you do only meet him in kidform. After all, Baro does greet you differently if you show up as Inaros. Are there any such lines, to anyone's knowledge?
Omega-Shadowblade
You can't meet onnko as a frame. even then he already acknowledges the quest in one of his dialogue options. Edited November 10, 2017 by Omega-Shadowblade
VocalMagic
Onkko is... special. He'd say something about you making Gara even before you've made Gara.
UncleWalrus
That's actually an excellent point. Temporal succession and causality are for other people as far as the Quills are concerned. Hadn't occurred to me. Cheers!

Because that already happened in the past.... that is yet to be.

The ability to perceive events through time as well as the events that lead up to them and in which way they do is... not really something that a human brain can comprehend. To be given that ability would likely as not drive someone insane. Have this example; you walk from place A to place B. As a human, you just go through a selection of roads. As a Quill; there's roads you can walk and for each road to walk, there's things that happen; why would you choose road 1 over road 2? Is it an emotional thing (you prefer left turns to right turns)? Is it the fact that there's someone working on road 1, that isn't on road 2? What has caused them to work on road 1? What has caused the event that is causing work on road 1? What about road 2? What about that lady that is cleaning her part of the sidewalk, what event has led to it? There's simply FAR too many little events leading to bigger events. The fact that you cannot stop yourself from perceiving these chains of event, for every, little, insignificant, thing, ever... would drive you BONKERS. So Onkko being a bit weird... no remotely unexpected. The saying goes that a butterfly beating its wings in one place can create a tornado in another -now imagine perceiving EVERY BUTTERFLY IN THE UNIVERSE. Without a 'please stop' button. Thats because The Unum can, in a sort of way, see the future and the Quills can see it too. The Unum can see multiple futures that comes from multiple choices, but when one of this choices is made, all the others don't exist anymore. Many people have a theory that The Unum is just Cephalon using massive processing and calculations to foresee the future. Like it did with Onkko's future.
