Huge memory leak after leaving game in background for 2-3 hours (above 11GB ram usage for warframe.exe).

Part of log file says "11152.110 Sys [Info]: Texture streaming DISABLED -> NORMAL [Heap: 1,209,388,896/1,370,619,904 Footprint: 12,879,691,776 Handles: 718]".

Here is screenshot from task manager (Pamięć is memory):

The usage gets bigger 1-2MB every second. I was just sitting in my orbiter, waiting for replies from warframe.market.

EDIT: Few minutes later:

EDIT2: When I left the game, it stuck for 30 seconds and the ram usage was reducing slowly (100-300MB/s).

EDIT3: I restarted the game and it seems, like memory usage is stable now, will test for few hours.

So I left game in background for few minutes, no leaks, played Seimeni, no leaks, checked few minutes after completing Seimeni, no leaks, waited few minutes more, AND HERE IT GOES. in 2 minutes increased from 1500MB to 2200MB while doing nothing in orbiter. I'm taking another backup of logs (it's third one). Like before, increses few MB per second.

I verified download cache and the leak seems to be gone but I'm still testing.

Please let us know if this solves the problem for you. 11gb is definitely not intended.

And if anyone else believes they are experiencing similar numbers, we highly recommend verifying download cache as well.

I've had this happen too. Most often after doing mission in the Plains. But I've never let it run for as long as it needs to for it to close itself down, I just use the 'end task' thing. ^^'

Edit: I've performed the verify and optimize option from the launcher and there's a big improvement, but there's still a leak/lag that keeps the evolution engine.exe running in the background for a little bit more than it should.

For now it seems fixed, will check after future updates and report back. When will be next major update?

@[DE]Dmitri check out this thread, few people confirmed similar issues. Do You want the logs despite the problem seems to be fixed? It may prevent future memory leaks that can be very painful for people with 3-6GB of ram.

Unfortunately I do not have any information at this time regarding an ETA for the next major update, but yes please keep an eye on it. As for the Reddit post, if players are no longer experiencing any problems then we should not need logs from them. We are more concerned about cases where there appears to be a leak in spite of having already verified / optimized the download cache.

Thanks!
