Making War Relevent Again

War... War never changes. And in Warframe, that a bad thing. So, I have a few ideas on how was could be changed to make them relevant and more fun to do.

The first thing to do is to un-link rewards from the missions, and instead of earning the rewards, you would earn one of two new currencies called 'War Bonds' for the Corpus and 'Scrap' for the Greener. You would not need one for the Infested, as we never fight for them, for some wired reason.

These new currencies would be earnt by fighting for either side. However, unlike the current system, where you chose who to fight for on mission-to-mission bases, you would pick who you're CLAN will support in each war, making them clan bassed mini events. Clans would then fight for 'most contributed' to the war goal scores, based on clan tier size as always.

How would you get the rewards though? Well, there's really only one choice. Davro would no longer just be there for the daily plat deals, but also be THE go-to guy on the Relay for war goods. But how would it work, given there are 2 currencies in the system for it?

The rewards we currently have for the Corpus and Greener would be the same. You would only get what you get from Greener war missions as you do know, the difference is, you will be picking what you want.

The current system of war missions where you have 3 to get the reward would be changed to 5, and you would earn a certain amount of currency per mission. This could be done one of two ways.

The first being base amount for each mission. e.g. you earn 40 permission, giving you 40 x 5 after completing the mission the number of times allowed.
M1: 40
M2: 40
M3: 40
M4: 40
M5: 40
Total: 200

the second is its doubled each mission. So you would start with 10 on tier 1, 20 on tire 2, and so on.
M1: 10
M2: 20
M3: 40
M4: 80
M5: 160
Total: 310

Of course, all numbers are only to show how it would work, not final numbers.

Once this is done, you can keep playing the missions, as you can now, but it won't get any more currency from that mission.
So, to outline it:

Clan Picks Side
Clan Fights For Side Currency
Players Gain Currency Per Mison
Players Take Currency To Davro
Davro Offers The Rewards
Players Pick What They Want.

This would make it FAR FAR easier for DE to add new things to the rewards for war missions, as well as change them up on a regular basis. It would also mean that, down the track, when we get a new faction or a new solar system (I hope that happens) it will make things somewhat easy to set things up.

1) They already lowered the number from 5 to 3, now you want to put it back to 5.
2) Solo players without a Clan exist, this idea entirely ignores them.
3) Why do people feel that anything non-Plat should be shoved into Darvo's store?
4) How would this be easier to change rewards for Invasions? How would this help DE change it more often?
5) This presupposes any new faction introduced to the game was an adversary (not a given, we do have friendly Syndicates) and that they would have the same Invasion system as the current one (not at all likely).

1: Yes, but that was done due to people thinking it was to long to get to the reward they wanted for one mission. Because the way my system works, where each time you do it, it gives you something, people are free to do as many or as little of the missions they want, for the points. And I always thought 5 was fine. :P

2. Solo players would be considered 'Unaffiliated' and as such, would be able to play as you do now.

4. If they're not changing it on an individual mission basis, then its less work at there end.

5. Ovusely, it would be an enemy faction, or there would be no point to adding them to the war system. But you are right, they might change the way wars work by then.

Context clues makes it obvious that he's talking about Invasions. You speak and read english fine. Don't be needlessly obtuse.
