    Discharge having better mechanics, and being more oriented to either CC or Damage, as it stands, it just lacks on both;

    MORE SPRINT SPEED! Something like at least 1.3! He's squishy, small and looks seriously frail. Reduce Speeds MS % and add more innate sprint speed.

    Glad to see the enthusiasum Toramaru! and I don't mean be a dubby downer, but they don't like volt, On prime time there was volt and they auto-skipped him...They could care less.  There was a thread made about removing ES that got lot's criticism, LOOKING BACK NOW I SAY GET RID OF IT WITH SOMETHING ELSE THAT WORKS BECAUSE THAT HAPPENED TO MAG WITHOUT KILLNG HER AND VOLT NEEDS THIS TO!!!. Suitable for a starter is not acceptable. I'm with you, volt need's that love HE NEVER GOT. VOLT IS SENSETIVE!  How about merging speed and ES into a team supportive ability and replacing ES with a damageing ability? I notice how many use volt for supportive roles and some want damage. SIMILAR TO HOW PEOPLE USE FROST FOR DEFENSE AND OFFENSE. So Lets have volt be really versatile by having one big functioning supportive ability and 1 damaging/debuffing ability 

    SO BOTH SIDES CAN BE APPEASED

    There are laggier (for lack of better words) frames in this game besides nekros. I personally have never experienced lag with a nekros, but no one asked for my personal experience

    Why seven though? Why not ten? Hydroid holds more than seven enemies in his pool of water, that doesn't cause lag? Limbo can banish more than seven enemies, no lag there? I have a sneaking suspicion this is about more than just connectivity issues...because there probably were other things that could have been done but...

     

    I have not read a single thread complainging about performace with nekros, something fishy is going on, right now were trying to find a compromise and or some sort-of solution to this

    4 solutions:

    1)make effcicency mods good for reduce decay.

    2) base decay go from 3% to 1.75 so duration mods need only if you want shadows with long duration and you can use others mods fo nekros  and the build is more easly.

    3) 3rd solution: the DE idea speak in the past devstream: decay % is based by Strenght MODs.

    4) lifesteal for shadows to take life from enemies 

    Shadows the dead is now the reverse, now dead of the shadows because they die before getting a chance to fight :sad:

    For the shield I'd reduce the speed debuff and remove the energy drain, but it's up to personal preference I think...

     

    I understand you are sad because the reasons why you played him are gone with the last rework. His gameplay changed maybe too much.

    I myself enjoy the rework because I like this new focus on CC effects instead of damage. This thread is about conciliate both aspects

    Alrighty, but I do like the idea of having a charged shock, like a lightning bolt

    Ya, but what. I'm sad now after pouring my heart out for volt!!! I had so much passion and now... I want to forget about it all. I wonder what other options are out there?

    I ignore the fact that it does that because it's so low. It's really not worth mentoning, but yes, it would be nice. Volt is 'just there'. Well, what other ideas are there? we can have fun dreaming about volt being super awesome...

    I did that for VP just because electricity, but the abilits prevent me from enjoying, and it shouldn't. I think speed should DO MORE. There's nothing wrong with speed in itself, but that's all that it does! Sure, you can argue that melee volt is viable, but THAT'S IT?!?. We need diversity, we need options! Take frost for example! He can debuff enemies and deal high damage! OR He can defend him and his allies! Scott was really excited for the frost re-work! but for volt? Almost nothing, no passion, even on prime time! You can see it! Then excalibur comes and steal's the show. Electricity and electric procs need a re-work, Make speed like accelerant or just SOMETHING DIFFRENT!. Lot's of amazing ideas (Such as some of you'rs) have been said for YEARS. Then we get this... if you like to melee. fine go with it, but there isn't much to be disscued, is there? It's been 2 month's, most feedback went ignored. That is all

    Volt does not have a well established Identity and is still not alternative to guns, there are some that argue he is support based, some cheer for offensive, get rid of the shield and make him super strong of excal tier that was stated but did not happen, (i'm in that camp)  some want utility, He makes no sense what-so-ever. This is the only "rework" that made pull my hair in frustration. He's no powerhouse, A CC frame? Errr not a good role. Plus, discharge is un-creative

    Volt's signature ability is speed. He is the speedster Warframe. But his ult forces him to stay in place and his shield when picked up penalizes you for moving, and even more for moving fast.

    Volt has good abilities but no well-defined identity. Some think he is the speedster frame, some think he is the electric frame, the result is some weird hybrid between the two that does nothing really well IMO.

    Someones using the noggin! I really wanted volt to be of excal tier as stated! I was in the group that wanted volt to be super strong! but then so much dissapointment and the volt megathread turned into a big mess.  What is volt? He's still seen as a witch and can't perform as well as other frames, he's still just a starter frame. Just a starter. Not only that, but discharge is boring! I don't want to speak to much I had to get that off my chest, volt "rework" was the only rework that I ever disliked BY A LONG SHOT!!!

    Out of curiosity, what do you guys think of as "balanced" ? because shadows dying and using lot's of energy to keep them up and running, is not balanced in the eyes of many

    I figured as much, thing is it complicates SoS builds, have you considerd reducing it or having effiency and or strength reduce it by a lot? Our shadows tend to go down faster then before

    Yup! that health drain is a shadow killer! (No pun intended) We need to have 10 shadows and have SoS cap at 90% like before, fortunatly nekros is one of the few frames that can fit augments easily (That's my experince)
