When you select rank up from your orbiter, it takes you into the test and then back to your ship when you are complete. How do you know it takes you to a relay?

There's a delay before the bolts explode. If you have corrosive on your weapon, then it likely proc'ed you as it was killing you. I'm struggling to think of any way to get a corrosive proc from enemies in ESO.

I've seen a couple different bug reports related to what might be happening.
1 report indicated that the Eidolon was invincible and no damage was occurring. If that's the case, not much can be done.
Other reports have indicated that the purple overshield appears, but that it's a visual glitch and that damage is being done, but not being displayed. If this is what is happening to you, you can still damage the limbs and defeat the Eidolon - you just won't have a good visual gauge of how much damage is done to the limbs.

No, it's like having a veiled pistol riven and needing to use a secondary to unlock it. The issue is that the veiled companion rivens don't tell you which type of weapon they are for. I think you can see if you try to link it in chat, as it should come up as a specific type of veiled riven. So, if it's a melee companion riven, you have to use a melee weapon to unlock it - and Deconstructor (Prime) is the only melee available.
The three you previously did probably just happened to be of the weapon type you use on your companion.

So, to clarify:
- What do you mean that you "recently acquired mastery rank 20"? You attain MR by taking and passing the test once you've gotten enough XP for it. Did you mean that you have enough MR XP to be MR 20? (Can you confirm this in your profile? How much MR XP do you have?)
- Where are you taking the test? In a relay or is the option being given to you on your liset?
- If you fail the practice, does it give you a cooldown before you can take it again?
- Are you selecting the correct test? If it's not the test that you need to rank up, then it will default to practice.

A potential workaround that you can use for now is to place it on a weapon and do a Mod Config Look link. I believe that will show the challenge.

One thing you can check is your network settings on your XB1. You can both try enabling/disabling IPv6 and see if that helps.

Unless you are unable to use them due to MR locks - there's no reason to not use weapons. You don't miss out on MR XP.

I put in a bug report for Ur and the disruption on Mars as those also don't give what the published drop tables show. Not sure if it's a console thing or if someone added the wrong data to the published tables.

Do the devs really care our feedback as to the bugs in the game? As it seems, with no action taken with over 2 weeks ongoing......doubtful!
They don't take time to respond to everything, but they do read the bug reports. Please be patient. It can take time to track down a bug and further time to figure out how to fix it and implement the fix.

How are you checking the amount of forma you have? Are you looking in your inventory? Are you checking in the Arsenal when you attempt to use one?
