  1. With over 2000 total hours, and most of that being trading.. I can say that most of this is accurate.

As added tips, which I don't recall being mentioned..

Always expand your chat window. This seems obvious, but a lot of people don't do it.  A full expanded chat window WILL make chat seems to move slower, because the spam message will take less lines overall and chat will be more manageable even during peak time.

If you have a TON of stuff to sell, DO NOT Make a flood message like

"WTS (Part/Set)(price) (Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)(Part/Set)(price)" Trade chat moves fast at peak hours and most of it will get overlooked. That and these messages tend to be ignored often than not.

Keep it Simple. if you have a large variety of stuff to sell as I usually do, I find that a simple message works better. My usual choice of message is "Selling most Mods and Prime Parts available. PM me, I may have something you're looking for." I get more PMs since I started doing that over the walls of spam messages.

General rule of thumb, if you're selling more than 5 items, use a simpler message. Unless you're listing off sets Like "Selling Prime Sets - Set1, Set2, Set3, Set4, Set5, Set6"

Speaking of Peak hours, LEARN THEM. Learn when each region's trade chat is most active. It will help, even if you only use just your region and learn just that one. It's easier to Buy/Sell during peak hours, but you may stand to get better deals during the slow times.

ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS be willing to negotiate prices. Unless you know the offer is a low offer, for example someone wanting to buy Trinity Systems for less than 80p.. Be willing to work with people, BUY OR SELL.

Always expect to see some low offers when selling. That are a lot of people that would like to turn a profit.

Also, since you mentioned haggling, you will always want to when buying. Just don't over do it. You can do it when selling too, but you may just chase people away.

  2. It rewards you for the kills as well. You get more affinity for your weapon used for the kill and some frame exp as well.

Do remember that any affinity people gain from your kills gets divided amongst their gear. So if you get 100, they get 25 to everything. While they get roughly the same amount, it's still less for each individual item.

  3. Prisma Skana is probably the most sought after prisma item, the fact that it's been back 3 times to me is a sign that DE are trying to make it more accessible to a market which is striving for it. I can't see how this is a bad thing .. it's effectively like an alert.

Yes and No. If they did it demand based, why have the most desirable prime mods only been up twice? IE Flow and Continuity.

It'd be fun if you could do a ducat trade.

Pay the ducat price of a prime item, get a random prime item that is in that price band.

Even double in for the item could still be quite good.

     No.

    It would lead to this:

Farm for part with X Ducat Value > Trade in until you receive part you desire > Repeat until all primes acquired

  4. It's more income for their Studio.

Assuming they're only a publisher, helping them get their game out, it shouldn't negatively affect Warframe. If they were part of development, other than taking part of discussion as a publisher, it might be different.

So, it'll pretty much be the same thing still.

  5. the void trader needs to start selling more items the price of old items is stupid and harmful to the community no one should be paying 100 plat for prisma weapons, or primed mods that are literally in a rotation. The void trader is a feature most players barely know about and once they do they already missed several visits.

    Pretty much my Thoughts.

Let me stop you right there.

Baro has NEVER shown up without at least one new item.

People get up in arms when the new item that he brings is something that doesn't interest them. This isn't really possible to fix because people have their own separate desires on what makes a good Baro visit. Sometimes he brings things like Baro noggles or liset skins that soem people love and others hate. Sometimes he brings a mod like Primed Heavy Trauma that most players won;t want but some will.

    You can't please everyone.

Really? Because I've seen a few rotations that were purely repeats. Usually consisting of an old mod or old armor part and that's it.

    Pretty sure of that.

  6. On the current PS4 build, melee weapon has little if any effect. After she gets her rework launched though, Melee mods will contribute a lot to her damage.

Power strength will increase the base damage of hysteria. Just a heads up though, running Blind Rage after her rework is hard to mess around with and balance out.

With the build being out for cert, I'd hold off on going too deep into forma and such for her because her best build changes drastically.

  7. This isn't available on Consoles yet. It might not even be part of the build that's out for cert.

Seeing as consoles are getting 17.7.1, It may still be a little while yet before you get it. Since that was part of 17.8 for PC. But I may be wrong, and you might get it in your next build. They do tend to do that.

They may have been inquiring as to how it works or possible rewards.

  8. I like the current concept because it rewards players who participate and return to the game.

Why reward people who 'do not' put in the effort ?

    You reward your community.

So changing a randomly selection of bi-weekly rewards to weekly changes this how? It rewards them for coming back MORE OFTEN. Just like the new daily login system that they've shown off a little of.

I understand they need to make money, but I don't think the Void trader makes them any money. They get more from prime access and such. If you want to argue that it does make them money via the prices people pay to get stuff that they also choose when it drops.. I guess you could, but most of that plat people are spending on such things are likely from Prime Access. They only spend it on things like harder to get mods simply because they have nothing better to spend it on.

If you don't run void enough, how do you ever expect to get anything from any void trader? Again this system is simply to provide a more fair opportunity to those that can't always be on for void trader. People do have lives to live.
