  1. While it would be helpful, the updated Mobile app will allow you to manage this easier.

Auto crafting and even multi-crafting are both idea that have shown up quite a bit on the forums. While there is demand, there's not really a need for it really.

  2. Try a high lvl exterminate and let them turn on the alarm they usually spawn with the alarm on

The alarm going off is a spawn requirement.

But yes, Exterminate, And other non-endless mission do have higher spawn rates than the endless ones for this enemy type, or are at least a quicker way of spawning them.

  3. Like, hacking is kind of neat, but there's very little to it. You mostly user it to close or open doors. What if you could hack a terminal and have several different options available? You could use a came to move a container that's blocking an optional path, you could set off some kind of "hazardous material spill" alarm to scare all the human enemies into leaving, you could cast a 30-second Chaos on all r proxies in the room, etc.

Map generation itself is another one. Let's not just have all linear levels. Let's have levels you can pick a path through. Make navigation more than just a matter of following the yellow mark. What if you could choose between assaulting the heavily-guarded door or trying to sneak through the vents, knowing that the vents would fill with poison gas if toy make a mistake?

You can also hack MOA cabinets to spawn a friendly MOA.

They sorta have to be linear, to make them new player friendly. There's already plenty of exploration that could be done.

  4. Are we actually able to sculpt content? Thinking about a helmet here (possibly asymmetric), I'm assuming polycount must be at an acceptable level but seeing as they are usually static as a solid mesh we don't need to meet any special topological standard do we?

The only sculptable content available atm is Syandanas.

  5. Pretty much this.

Whenever I need Orokin Cells, I personally just go and wait for the Phorid to show up on either Saturn and Ceres. It's faster and seems a bit more likely to drop a rare resource.

Bosses are always good for rare resources. They have a higher chance to drop them.

  6. Grand Theft Auto V

    i finally upgraded my system.

    Core i5 3470

    8gb DDR3 ram at 1333mhz

    MSI Radeon 6770 1GB

Does anyone know at what fps i could run it?

FPS is hard to say, but it should run fine.

I ran the game just fine with a nearly decade old Nvidia card with decent FPS :P

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/warframe/11546/?p=r use that site :) It wont give you  and FPS rating, but it's still good.

  7.

@Darzk: Why do you want to have 2x duration? Just for Warcry? Because it isn't needed for anything else (use Streamline to get 25% Efficiency and your on the lowest costs anyway)

Yes you do Ideally want a decent base duration to work with when using Eternal War. Gives more room for error after activation.

  8. Valkyrs Build:

    - Steel Charge - Max: increases melee-damage, Energy-Siphon doesn't work, so in my opinion best in Slot

Corrosive projection is also a good option if you're running void or Grineer missions)

    - Fleeting Expertise - 4: 50% Efficiency, because duration is also important for the cost/second

This can actually throw builds off, because lowered duration will affect cost per sec.

    - Streamline - 4: 25% Efficiency to reach the 75%-cap

    Always good :)

    - Intensify - Max: Increases the damage of the weapon

If you need the extra base damage sure.

    - Transient Fortitude - Max: also a damage increase, when maxed it turns down the duration, which increases the cost per second.

An okay open the small amount of duration lost is too hindering.

    - Narrow Minded - 8: increases the duration, and let you cast Hysteria for 0,63 energy per second (too bad Energy Siphon isn't working while in "Hysteria"-Mode Yup :)

    - Flow - Max: because it is always nice to have much Energie even if it can be possible to use something else.

Must have for Hysteria build. Can manage without but that give you a longer total duration and give more room for eorr and RNG on energy drops.

    - Vitality - Max: I love the synergie between more life, Rage to get energy when hurt and Hysteria to get back the life you lost - I usally do this one or two times to reach the energy-cap (in my case 300), because I really hate running out of energy.

You're building for Hysteria, you don't need this. You can keep it active almost indefinitely

    - Rage - Max: read at Vitality why it's nice to have

Replace with Eternal War. The Warcry buff is a VERY good steroid.

Maybe one of the last points could be changed to Eternal War, but I personally really don't like the shout, so I'm not using it very often.

    Last but not least:

    - Rush - Max: While using Hysteria Valkyr is only able to perform melee attacks, so it seems to be a good idea to increase her speed to reach enemies as fast as possible

Rush is great for melee, Mobilize is another good option as well. It helps with getting around the void with ease. Both work in this case.

Now let's take a look at the weapon mods:

    See continued reply below

Comments on current Items in bold. Melee build below.

So there are some questions left:

    1. What do you think about my Setting in general? Where could it be improved?

    2. I dislike using eternal war - I don't think the bonus is really important (because I don't need more attackspeed in my opinion if it's possible to kill everything with one hit - what I really want to do as far as possible). Or is EW important because of the slow to reach enemies faster/easier?

    3. After reading the Warframe build: any suggestions what should be changed?

    4. using this build, the warframe builder tells me the melee damage Multiplier is 3.24 - but if I do a calculation (1,6 (Steel Charge)*1,85(Power Strength)) I only get 2,96 - where's the error?

    5. Which elementary damage would you use?

    6. Do you think channeling should happen as much as possible? Would you if you say yes change Shocking Touch to Focus Energy?

    7. Reach: Does anyone know how reach exactly works in Warframe/while using Hysteria?

    8. Do you recommend attack speed?

    9. How would you mod your melee-weapon?

thanks for reading and your opinion,

    Nacond

    1. Well, you seem to want to build Hysteria, but not Fully commit to it. Ideally, for maximum Hysteria, you'd want this build http://goo.gl/ZanHiU

This sacrifices all survivability outside of hysteria for maximum DPS in it. Substitute non-prime mods where needed)

    2. Eternal war is not an option. It's a necessity for her, even more so when you run high level Void missions for hours (because you can do that with a hysteria build) The fast attack speed helps A LOT. Eternal War allows you to keep it active Permanently.

    3. See #1 for recommended build.

    4. Melee multiplier only scales off Power Strength. So 1.75 * 1.85 = 3.2375, rounded to 3.24. Your error is that you're multiplying Steel Charge instead of the base value.

    5. Corrosive  + Fire in most cases. The chance to shred armor is too necessary. If you happen to be in a group running Corrosive projection, Viral would surpass it.

    6. Channeling while in hysteria is 100% unnecessary. You'll do a fair amount of damage as is. if there's a bulky enemy, Use paralysis and set it up for a finisher that will deal absurd damage, and likely one shot it.

    7. Reach increased you attack range, just as it would for any melee weapon. Good for making nullifiers easier to kill in hysteria without breaking it.

    8. Yes. Attack Speed is more helpful later into a mission. Early on, it speed up your animations as well, allowing you to smash through enemies that much faster!

    9. My melee weapon generally looks like this: http://goo.gl/NfPEM6

I play Valkyr quite a bit. She is a large chunk of my current playtime, even before the Hysteria changes. Hopefully this insight will allow you to improve  with Valkyr :)

  9. I'd like to gather a list of as much of warframe player terminology as possible. I do know most of it, so defining it isn't necessary. I just want to make sure nothing gets forgotten. Abbreviations are also part of this.

For future notice, this will be shaped into a short guide for TennoArmory tomorrow. (technically later today, depends on your time zone). I'll keep it updated, alphabetized and

I'll add to this list as replies come in. First check/update for it will be tomorrow.

    Terminology List

    • Potato - Used to refer to Orokin Catalysts and/or Orokin Reactors.
    • MR - Mastery Rank, Overall Player Level
    • Rank - Gear XP level.

Stopping list there for now. Will check back here tomorrow after I wake up :)

  10. the rounded percentage the game shows seems to be broken or something, or else why would my vaykor marelok not show up on the most used slot ?

I can only assume that since it only has one slot for a weapon, it gets broken some how.

I have the same situation. Seeing as orthos Prime is 36% usage on mine, but shows the Boltor prime at 13% instead.

I'm going to assume that this person was correct, because it seems that way. With the bolded change at least. Only way I'll know for sure is after I slaughter a few thousand more things with the Jat Kittag. To see if it surpasses the Boltor Prime

For frames it is time used.  For weapons it is Kill count.

For sentinels and kubrow breeds it also is time used.  However, for the weapons it once again is damage done, so you could have a specific kubrow breed listed twice.

  11. Great Guide !

but .... how do I expand the chat window ? it sometimes happens by accident but I dont know how to do it

Bottom right of the chat window is a corner you can click and drag to resize. You will have to move your window up to allow it to expand downwards though

  12. Good ones I was getting burnt out writing it all out towards the end but I will edit it to include these with a citation to you for these needed additions.

also gratz on becoming a junior guide!

    Thank you. :)

Also, post trade, you should always follow with some sort of thank you or nice trading with you. Just being nice in general will get some people to add you or similar effect and get you repeat trades.

  13. Good post man , very well done.

One trick I do to get players coming back all the time to buy is cut them a better deal in pm.

for example I'll sell Orthos P set 50p.

If theres a buyer who's willing to pay that I drop the price to 30p in pm.

They will come back and spend more plat.

Being reasonable can get you repeat "customers", but given your example, it sounds like you're just unnecessarily dropping the price for the sake of doing so. Resulting in a good deal for them, but you losing out, especially if you were flipping.

  14. From the Wiki:

For clarity, It's max health is "Modified Health". Base health is the value before mods.

Snow Globe's health uses the following expression when accounting for Power Strength:Modified Health = (Base Health + 5 × Frost's Base Armor × Base Armor Bonus) × (1 + Power Strength) + Absorbed Damage. As an example, with a maxed Steel Fiber and Intensify, a rank-3 Snow Globe will have an initial health of (5000 + 5 × 300 × 1.1) × 1.3 = 8645 before absorbing damage.
