  1. one line and the only reason you'd use the warframe is removed. bad rework. then that's your problem. no disrespect but that's also bad because that's basically the gloom copium problem that's ruining warframe. Tapping into the Rift, Limbo demonstrates his art of dimensional travel that disrupts the space-time continuum, blurring the borders between realms and reality. -wiki uhh his theme is literally the rift. limbo is a supportive warframe regardless. the rift plane isn't oppressive people are just arrogant. no he doesn't. Yup case and point the reason the removal of the rift mechanic is a bad idea. sounds pretty......copium. No disrespect but like have people tried out the "abort mission" button instead of making it a big deal? If you're implying that enemies damage limbo through the rift then yeah lol go to the search bar and see how many results pop up of people complaining about eximus ignoring the rift. enemy aggro is useless in warframe. sorry. doesn't matter if the enemy can 360 snap to your head the instant the aggro is gone or isn't strong enough. Limbo can play without oppressing his squad. he is a supportive warframe providing damage negation and energy regeneration. if i play as a saryn or mesa for example, how does the rift hurt me in any way when my most strongest abilities ignore it? You can literally fix limbo and avoid all of this with one simple option. Subsume silence over banish and run rift torrent.
  2. correct. lua, conjunction survival. railjack isn't a content island at all, refusing to play a vastly reworked piece of content is your decision. to be fair with archon hunts I can see why. Moreso probably because people would eventually complain they are too hard. or we can just ignore SO because ESO is arguably better. Not to mention it's already the best xp farm in the game right now, ESO is far from needing to be worked on. Imo they could easily fix this by bringing timed events around on rotation each week. and the fact that there are too many to be named is hilarious. Reb and Pablo are carrying the game like a champ. most people could care less about quests and I think the new war was the nail in the coffin. shame because it is a cool idea but at the same time good luck. I think that the last thing we need is for content to get even more seperated. Unless this is in direct reference to railjack, mid. More focused on connecting that with the rest of the game. as de and the community states, none of that matters when enemies dissapear in an instant. However, it would be far better if the enemy itself was worked on instead of just being a reskin. with that said I hope said mechanics can make a difference. didn't people literally complain about how time gated and absurd alerts were and that was the reason for nightwave's creation, or am I remembering incorrectly/ I think constantly going for massive updates is what was killing the game slowly, Moreso the latter sentence. .... ... ... FORTNITE straight up showed you the replies to the rest of the replies lol but oh well. post is massive copium regardless.
  3. and this is why I suggested fixing the ai and mechanics, generally the content in the game as is. I think what's ruining games involves the constant push for new content instead of just letting the rushed developers sit back and take a breather.
  4. In general I do believe that if content that is meant to be played, farmed, casually or hard, wasn't separated into different parts of the game but instead was unified and the path chosen was decided similarly to that of steel path, then the game would have a solid concrete foundation on implementing an immersive endgame.
  5. Yeah duviri has a lot of good aspects to it and I am also happy that the developers update and fix the game more often. However, the bugs are still prevalent unfortunately. to be fair I feel like duviri was to hype up soulframe but when people wanted to make duviri good de went ..... f it and started listening to feedback to make it as fun as it is now. I think that if duviri was tied to railjack and squad link as it was originally intended to, then it would be a viable endgame.
  6. love this it is too fast paced but also if you want to play the game as a stealth shooter then you can and nobody is stopping you from doing so. freedom of choice is what makes this game so good. lmao yeah I decorated my entire orbiter to look like a void tower (prime stuff yknow) and it looks completely different than the normal orbiter. 10/10. yup but again helpful for new players for railjack open world and the new war. true true.... kubrow casually nuking steel path enemies from a finisher that too. and they can equip skins. fr you're telling me "Try playing Railjack first then come back with an opinion." lol this yup best content rework to date imo. maxed all the focus schools and holy cow operators are strong. there are times where I will get the operator out in steel path to safely kill a group of enemies because they can just BRRT enemies into nothing. last sentence is poggers. couldn't have said it better.
  7. same status chance as kohm, highest status shotgun in the entire game. first off any form of punch through is generally useful for single target to compete with aoe so that's mainly the reason people use primed shred. base shred can be farmed from nightmare missions but alternatively if you can support the mod capacity I recommend punch through alone. as for your second request, magnetic is generally the best for spreading status on the weapon. However, if it's primarily to be used as a killing weapon, heat/electric and run with viral since both single procs staack indefinitely.
  8. You are correct, too. DE doesn't want to ignore challenge because of the popuar majority, but because anytime they made an attempt to add challenging content people would just whine and complain for it to get hard nerfed into becoming casual. Arbitrations ESO Steel Path Eximus Thraxx Eidolons etc. I think that having difficulty added is as justified as having content that isn't difficult. That's called being inclusive.
  9. I want to disagree... SIKE You are exactly right and this is exactly what I warned people about before duviri released damn tragic irony because I think it has so much potential.
  10. and they nerf the rewards dare I add. I enjoy kuva survival steel path endurance as I find riven trading and upgrading my arsenal through rivens to be my sort of endgame similar to that of POE or BDO. But I do agreee it does counteract the idea of the design behind the game. Can't complain though.
  11. haha yeah. That's also perfectly fine. I play a power fantasy game so I can't expect it to be dark souls. One can dream, though.
  12. consider me weird but I like how duviri gear checks my weapons and warframe loadouts. making me decide which frame I want to use the most and such run after run. they really aren't look at eximus and the amount of copium that got them nerfed. mhmm yeah they do and it's amazing. but also difficulty shouldn't be involved with level cap. should be involved with mechanics.
  13. No it's in direct reference to his podcast with brozime, I recommend you check it out it's actually REALLY good. then seperate that content. then again isn't the boss fight for oroworm or fossa too much? yup they are good designs and i completely agree. Which is why the ai needs to be updated. Imagine what would happen if the nullifier or bursa or nox had the ai complexity of the marauder from doom. Where they know their weaknesses but at the same time yours. For an example, nullifiers now nullify void mode. Running into a nullifier bubble removes shields. Bursas are snappier when targeting the player and will auto target the player if the player fails to damage them from behind fast enough. noxes now consistenly push and will cover their faces if the helmet breaks, spreading toxic eximus amounts of toxin damage in a 5 meter radius. that kind of thing. I think the eximus rework was a good example of enemies punishing the player for lack of attention, but I think that if the ai was more intelligent that they could become a legitimate wall. damn you're right lol
  14. You are completely right. If legitimately difficult content is to be addressed, make it seperated from normal play. And so that the casuals don't complain, have the same drops but weaker and with less drop chance. but also make the resources dropped better so they can get the resources they need through the helminth system to become ready for said harder content.
  15. But on the subject of changing ai and their mechanics I can give more examples. Oh you're charging an ability and standing there? let me push you into a void and have all of your abilities nullified while 15 of my troops wait for you to slowly get back up and get blasted into oblivion. Oh so you're standing under strangledome? let me just teleport myself and allies away from you so that you can't gain life support until you decide to take us down. Oh so you want to turn invisible? well let's shoot at dead allies' bodies or any spot we hear gunfire at (gives players a reason to use hush). things like that.
  16. 1. okay so some actual examples thankfully. 2. the mechanics interfere because we can one shot. In general I'm not focused on boss fights I'm focused on general gameplay. The oroworm is one part of the game, 3. No, just that they didn't know how to make them difficult without nerfing the player. DE Pablo said himself in an interview that "it is sometimes hard to find...a balance between the power fantasy and the difficulty side of the game." nothing more than thaat. 4. No, you're forcing that idea on me then proceeding to throw respect out of the window. Ai needs to be improved in terms of how it reacts to the player. Let's say I'm rhino and the enemies shoot at me for the invuln period but then see it takes 3 seconds longer to kill me. at that point they'd be like okay well I'm not going to shoot you until that's over instead I'm going to use an invulernability period to where you have to shoot me instead. that guy kicked my butt every day of the week. that and nox lol.
  17. I do recall this being a thing and it's a shame that isn't the case anymore. People used to think about the frames they brought. Now they just expect one frame to do everything. I think that the game started becoming a power creep when elements got reworked. before then, armor scaling was more punishing, shield gating wasn't a thing, people would think about what they ran elemental wise (like gas or corrosive or even magnetic at times) because enemy ehp scaled so high it actually made a difference.
  18. I completely agree and I think that archons are the nail in the coffin for the theory of "make enemies harder to kill." Yeah, maybe more of updating the AI instead of having them run into walls. In level cap content the latter is true in terms of damage scaling. But overall I think that, could just be me, the solution is to incentivize strategy over elimination.
  19. look at my emblem. I no life lore. because this wouldn't make sense lore wise. tenno weapons are not of grineer design, and vice versa. However, it does make sense for enemy factions to adapt to the tenno and for them to have become stronger during the progress towards the new war resulting in the creation of archons from the same invention. not lore wise it's a good option for the people that wanted to use said weapons that didn't have a riven that could push them to steel path.
  20. Okay but can you elaborate on how it is a content island? again fashion is subjective, personally could care less about cosmetics for an actual content island (where playing the mode has no replay value because of archon hunts being faster and less bugged). 1. weird but sure just seems a bit irrelevant to recent content. 2. no. it was bad when compared to having magus lockdown and god mode by crouching. as for primary weapons, sure. limited to quest items? NO. you mean transcendance? it was also bad and why focus got reworked. 3. they literally had to disable them from archon hunts so I don't see this happening. 4. so railjack on launch. starting to see a trend here. 5. so add more grind. no. 6. specify. 7. too hard to code. 8. what? 9. so remove them and prevent people from getting mastery or something helpful early game? why? 10. archwings need to be left untouched after the blink nerf. 11. ok how does half of this pertain to content islands?
  21. can you be more specific? to be fair clans in general have lost meaning outside of mastery ever since dark sectors got removed. to the vet yes, to the new player no. the rewards are useful for the newer player to work up to getting their railjack for their liches and the new war. without the mods, boom 1 tapped. My kubrow nukes level 190 if you want to see it. I flex it in the fan discord all the time. not even a criticism, fashion is subjective. Yes which is good for the people who want to use said weapons and not fall behind. Railjack got one of the best reworks to date, unless you prefer getting screwed over because nobody played public and having your railjack die every 2 seconds due to the sheer amount of damage enemies dealt from poor scaling. Sorry but is there an actual criticism to be made? FORTNITE
  22. well if we are to impliment a new mode to make difficult content I'm not sure if it's also just as easy as making enemies tankier. Probably need better forms of punishing the player for poor movement or positioning similar to what the trials did.
  23. Goodness I remember LOR. Shame it broke with every update/ I think that what warframe was back then could be what it is today for a more harder mode, as DE did show a harder mode than steel path on stream before. Maybe gear checks and have the same modifier that archon hunts do except backwards, I think that would really incentivize hardcore players like us to solo.
  24. It isn't which again probably why we should ignore it. Because I get an understanding we both are here to have a civil discussion :)
