  1. Im totally with you on them reverting the LoS restriction added to tragedy. I just wanted to clear any misconceptions that people might have about dark verse. It ALWAYS needed LoS. Yes, its LoS checks are very forgiving, and at times it can feel like it goes through walls.. But there are definitively LoS checks on it and there always were.
  2. Okay so, I dont actually think you are correct about dark verse having no LoS checks before patch 5.4.. I have a clip from the day dante launched proving it could not go through walls. https://imgur.com/a/Bn9UOCG If you watch the video, you can clearly see dark verse IS NOT going through walls. This video was taken the day after dante launched, using a 250% range build. Thats not to say it didnt occasionally go through certain walls or obstacles, but it 100% DID have LoS restrictions.
  3. Pablo I love you man, youve done so much good for this game, but tragedy getting LoS aint it. Please reconsider adding it to tragedy in the first place. The ability will feel so much worse with it, and it doesnt even really need it. Enemies must be tagged with a DoT in the first place to be killed by tragedy. Dark verse requires LoS, weapon priming requires LoS.. My point is, that this change is largely pointless, and only serves to make Dante feel more clunky than he needs to feel. I loved being able to tag multiple separated groups of enemies with dark verse and then be able to detonate them with tragedy without having to worry about a small rock completely blocking the damage. If a nerf must happen, consider just a small range reduction, or possibly making it so only statuses the player applied detonating.
  4. Revert the LoS change please. My god it feels completely awful with any LoS restriction.. his 3 already has LoS for petes sake. an unprimed enemy wasnt dying to tragedy anyway! Keep the overguard changes, nerf tragedy range, whatever just PLEASE get rid of the LoS. it feels AWFUL
  5. Thank you for listening to this feedback. LoS restrictions are fine! but please make it consistent with Dark verses LoS restrictions. Enemies and Corpses SHOULD NOT block tragedy! dark versse is not blocked by those things so traagedy shouldnt either!
  6. What is this AWFUL tragedy change?! Now ENEMIES and CORPSES are blocking my line of sight... like it would be one thing if it was just a line of sight nerf... But this is such an obnoxious thing.. prime a group of enemies RIGHT in front of me, and use tragedy... Whoops sorry.. only the guys in front die, becausse you couldnt see the guys behind them... Seriously??! At least make it so enemies and corpses dont count towards LoS.
  7. My point is that his nuke is fine when you consider what other frames can do. If we were to nerf it under the pretense of it "being too strong" then at that point we would need to go back to several frames and nerf them too while we are at it. Why should dantes nuke in particular be targeted? I think if anything needs to be adjusted with dante, it would be his overguard granting abilities, simply because it is the only aspect of his kit that is actually power creeping an aspect of the games mechanics. Personally, I dont even think he needs ANY adjusting. He is popular because he is new. Everything he offers can already be achieved through other warframes. People running around nuking the map constantly and making everyone else pseudo invincible was ALREADY a thing.
  8. Why is nuking rooms now suddenly an issue? Do you not realize gauss can nuke SP rooms just as well, if not faster? The only reason you are noticing this more now is because dantes nuke is a bit easier to use, and a lot of people are trying out the new frame.. its not even the best nuke in the game tbh. 1. it requires line of sight. enemies without any DoTs on them wont get nuked from tragedy. 2. It is extremely energy hungry. You need to slot on several sources of end game efficiency/energy sources to be able to nuke constantly. Most players dont actually have access to all of these things. 3. Without roar, or viral support, it quickly falls off at higher level steel path. Meanwhile gauss is over here nuking and noone bats an eye. No line of sight required. Just be above redline and thermal sunder heat a few times, cold sunder once... BAM everything in 30meters is dead. Dont even get me started on the new Nezha augment... Literally just press 4, wrathful advance, and BAM everything is 54 meters dies instantly. Dante cant even hold a candle to that.
  9. Im against nerfing him. His nuke is on par with gauss, slightly easier to use and more range, but it requires line of sight to prime enemies with his 3 or a weapon. His overguard is solid, but it falls apart compared to other survivability options at high levels. his page warden and birds are both solid, but they arent game breaking. Noctua is a meme and basically just a helminth fodder. I dont see why we are even considering nerfs tbh. I guess if you had to tweak him, maybe make his overguard buff to team mates less potent than it is on himself? I think noobs just see big overguard and assume it means they are invincible forever.. For low level content i suppose this is true, but its honestly not going to do anything for you if you want to take dante to level cap. Lets just remember that Revenent exists and is quite literally invincible. AND he can make the entire team immortal with his mesmer skin augment. There are better nukes than dante, there is better buffers than dante, there are tankier frames than dante.. he is good at a lot of things but king of none. And personally i just dont think its a problem.
  10. So I've been messing around with roar nuke dante, and I have noticed that when I am the host, I can easily nuke large swathes of enemies using the 3 - 3 - 4 combo. When I join another session however, my nuke feels considerably weaker. And this isn't a small difference, it basically neuters the nuke. I mean, it will still do "decent" damage.. but there is clearly a discrepancy that is obviously not intended.

  12. Thank you for listening to feedback! this is an excellent change! I was worried mirage would be unfairly caught in the crosshairs of a brutal nerf just because her eclipse happens to be a helminth ability
