'cos really, the lootbox grind is a fulltime job. There's literally no point where you can say "I've got it all". With Warframe, I'm at that point, until a new batch of Primed gear gets released. Warframe lets me take a break and I don't feel like I've lost progress.

hey double the trouble, double the fun.

enjoy both games simultaneously, buy yourself two keyboards and download ram if it helps.
I'd argue that the concept of hard earned loot is ancient now days and should be a leftover dead on old MMORPGs.

Feels pre-emptive, especially with the one-handed cast being added from a previous patch. They're doing more QOL & more bugfixes for him like they're playtesting him more nowadays. Definitely more updates than he has received in years even if they're small. Here's to being hopeful of them considering an update now!

It feels rather that DE is catching up to the veteran mind set.
There has been a substantial halt to new weapons and an increase in QOL and warframe reworks/ weapon buffs&nerfs.

Wouldn't be surprising to see an hydroid change down the line, but considering DE history in reworks, i think they won't follow the suggestion at all and if anything are likely to do something based on this and other suggestions to keep the professional developer forehead tag they've been cultivating.

Can't wait for both tho, i love hydroid as much as any of you guys. Any change, despite how weird, as long as it works and is fun, is fine by me.

I hope I don't get laughed at, but I really wish we could move in Undertow, to make it a more stealthy option to pass laser barriers, etc. without setting off an alarm etc by turning into a puddle and simply sliding underneth them.

When I heard about Undertow that was my first thought, thinking it would be a stealth ability like Loki or Ash.

You wouldn't be the first person to think it would be cool

Walking poodle of doom, just sounds cool and dumb.

  4. Ran with my nyx and random pub. 2nd run to it, but was really fun. (it was an valkyr p, trinity and nidus. If i recall corrently.)

Knocked down and destroyed the saplings balls with sonicor and kept controlling the crowd with chaos and mind control for extra buffs. Kicked to space crowds of enemies and nullies when i had the chance too.

It was really chaotic but nothing impossible. I feel that sapplings were the biggest problems on this kind of runs, since they cover a ton of space with no down falls at all and apparently an infinite supply of blue balls.

Seriously had me screaming of excitement when i saw that boss at the end, too bad it ended pretty quickly.

Eh, It's just my personal taste. I am sure I will eventually try him.
I don't suggest that DE change his look because I am sure that there are others who like him the way he is.

    nah its fine
i also don't dig the super glossy skin and huge &#! shoulders.

everyone has its tastes and i can imagine how hard it was for DE to make an pirate in a game with the slogan "ninjas play free".

I just don't like the way he looks. He looks like he is wearing multiple layers of clothes that would severely impede his ability to flow through the water. I think the Pirate theme works for Deluxe skins but has no place in the actual warframe design. Also Why the Eyepatch? It makes no sense

Considering that the lore sort of implies that warframes have some sort of connection with the infested tissue and whatnot, you could say that every warframe is distinguishable because it was simply an aesthetic choice by the orokin. It pays no logic or practicability.

Armor suit aside, you can disband any belief when you consider that warframe is in a very stylized sci-fi setting. Plus, his ability also isn't the one to flow through water, fyi. (rather become water itself).

Yeah, the fact that you can perfectly aim at an enemy & pay your energy then your ability entirely misses dealing any damage to the enemy is something I'm trying to combat with the energy refunds for casting abilities that don't deal enemy damage.

This also allows people to use them for mobility & breaking open containers without having to worry about saving energy which does fit the theme!

or they could just make the hitboxes larger enough to hit the target in the selected radius, i guess.

Also, I partially disagree. I don't think they should be almost required mods, but to rather fix shortcomings in certain situations. For example, like how Hallowed Reckoning essentially fixes Reckoning's issue with damage, past star chart level, while without the augment, the ability still good for other reasons.

That is kinda like going to a restaurant, order a specific meal and then being required to pay again to eat the meal you ordered at the start.

Basically I meant that they shouldn't fix any shortcomings at all, that would make them ALMOST essential to have mods.
My opinion though, i don't know what intend was from the devs, but for me, i personally think they should be mods that spice up gameplay and build variety, rather than give band-aid fixes.

  8. Something i forgot to add, you guys should keep an open mind for suggestions.
The warframe has a LOT of short comings, that was a single change (although nice), that just means that he stepped from nothing to a one trick pony.

Read the whole topic a few times, it is a lot to absorb and understand. It is actuality full of pretty awesome ideas and fun at that.
Which is something the warframe lacks the most.

  9. As an a relatively old player and major fan, i feel (and maybe others who participated in early WARFRAME), that much of the charm of WARFRAME changed. (in my opinion some gone too)

I don't want to pressure you DE at all, considering the amount of diverse projects you are already in, but is there any way of sharing any information regarding WARFRAMEs old gore being revamp to work with the current damage 2.0?  It was grotesque, but it made slashing through hordes of enemies fun. It felt intuitive and "believable", because my enemies didn't felt like wood that would break randomly after a couple of pokes with a pointy stick.

  10. At least equinox is more consistent than farming in order to farm more. I stand my ground with mesa, what a disguising farm it had.

The only choice i wasn't entirely sure about, was honestly only chroma, the way the parts were distributed were a band-aid to say the least.
