Yeah, I think I mentioned that in one of the earlier forums, that they should've held off on Gargoyle's Cry until after Cross-save was finished, or hold off on Cross-save until after Gargoyle's Cry was finished. -
Oh, I agree they deserve a Holiday too, but I'm saying that I wouldn't be shocked either, especially as a sort of gesture of good faith for how horribly the rollout has gone.

I feel like if they don't get this figured out by tomorrow, maybe they'll see if they can get the devs to come in between Christmas and New Years to continue the rollout, so as to keep the promise Reb made.

From what I can gather, you can merge one account per platform, so one PSN, one NSW, one XBOX, and one PC.

From a data standpoint, the NSW account and PC account are copies of one-another, from what I understand.

Yeah, hence the Stress test. They're currently working out how to progress from here with the wave without outright bricking their servers.

That's why this wave is a STRESS TEST. Like, seriously did you even read the top post in this forum that explains why they're doing it this way? They closed it because they had stability issues and are going through the data.

Chances are, in that hour of being open, a large number of the playerbase used the merge, which no doubt put immense stress on the servers. Which is why they closed it after an hour, as the servers couldn't handle the volume of requests.

Then the PC and Switch accounts are going to be inellgiible for the merge. Any account that was migrated in the past is inelligible to Merge, all they can be used for is account Link, which means you'll lose progress and items on all but your main account.

You do need to remember, DE is based out of London, Ontario. 6AM for you is 10AM for them. Regardless of when they launched this stress test, some group was going to be left out. Just be patient like the rest of us.

Honestly, probably not no. You're certainly free to, but it might be better to just hold out a little longer still.

So, interestingly I'm getting the account link button on this account when I open the drop-down menu from the home page. Of course, the link doesn't work yet, as it just brings me to the account management page with the waiting graphic, but every other time this happened, it seemed to coincide with a new wave coming out. So, fingers crossed, people.

That's fair, in all honesty. If I get access through PC, even though I plan to have that as my secondary account for content, I'll probably go for it if I can tomorrow/Friday.

I mean, if it is going to be going with regular PC tomorrow, and if it's all regular PC players, then that helps at least SOME of the users on here complaining. Assuming they release it for every PC account that was made before the cutoff. I, kinda doubt they would do that, if only because the sheer volume of 11 years worth of users being able to merge might straight up crash the servers.

The linking people are talking about is a one-time account migration from around when Warframe released on NSW, which would lock you out of this round of merging.

Account Link and Account Merge are being released together, so if you aren't in the current wave, you'll have to wait.

You purchased a Prime Resurgence then. Prime Access is specifically in the first wave for a prime frame.
