Agreed with all points, they went way too far with the Shotgun nerf and the Glaive is an unpleasant glimpse for the future.
Haven't seen the bug yet because I started playing something else again, but sounds really damn annoying.
I'm thinking about starting some warframes building and going back to Torchlight 2...

...is disappointing.
The Glaive issue has been beaten worse than a dead horse...
The shotguns needed a nerf, but I feel damage drop off is a rather stupid way of going about it...widened cone of arc would be better and more realistic. Now, I'm doing what feels like half damage at 5m away.
I've been noticing a lot of new UI bugs that cause me to have to restart the client to keep playing.
The worst, by far, is the nerf to melee - unintentional or not. Now, ~50% of the time I get a kill with a power attack, I will be locked in an animation that stabs the ground and does nothing while wasting time and making the player more vulnerable.
Additionally, removing the lockers from the one section (From 12 to 6) seems pointless since they were mostly locked anyway and it was a nice little treasure trove when it was found. Exploration is being stifled by measures like this.
It is also near impossible to tell the difference between MOA and Shock MOA now.
Edit
They nerfed everything without really adding anything. I can't slide-slash dash anymore so my Frost is now incredibly slow and unable to keep up.

Morphics is considered a rare resource. The higher level the enemy/mission, the more likely it is that morphics will drop instead of what ever common resources you are currently finding.
-
They also nerfed Strun and Boar in the process. Think about that for a second they nerfed Boar.
What is this "Boar" of which you speak? Can I ride a pig in Warframe!?! NINJA PIG RIDERS!
That being said, I'd rather have this nerf than not have it. I believe it is something that will be toned down to be more reason. They were too strong, and now possibly too weak (Hasn't been around long enough to have any conclusive evidence).

You mean a weapon, right?
And the weapon will eventually drop.
At 2 AM. While I'm asleep.

Hmm...the way I see it, DE is getting a little greedy, they are tight for cash, or they made a mistake. None of them, though, are good for the game.
Another paranoid thought: They could be testing the waters for what they can and can't do with pricing things.
-
...and I'm a little underwhelmed so far. Any suggestions for how to make it better or should I just sell it? I was hoping to be able to one shot most grineer lance men, but I don't think it is going to be able to do that, especially at higher levels, so what is the advantage? The recoil makes fast head shots a little bit harder and it doesn't seem all that worth it right now.

I think the focus of the game should be on bug testing and polish in open beta then start adding content post-release. The Alert system and communications out-of-game does need a good bit of polish, IE displaying the names of the people you are playing with at the menu outside of going into Chat and Squad which are relatively slow updates.

You get 50 free platinum. By the time you are making your third or fourth warframe and your 10 or 12 weapon, you really kind of owe them at that point. Why do so many people think Free 2 Play means they are never expected to pay and the game will continue to develop and prosper on hopes and good wishes?
-
Where do we see the upcoming weapons? Or was it in the live stream?
-
9/10 it's ok
"I give it a near perfect score. It's just average though."
I really like this idea. It could complete the elemental trio (No Frost, you don't count.)
-
Oh, that explains it.
-
If you read the rest of my post, you would see that I specified Alert missions giving 10k a pop when they are advertised as 5k.
-
The idea that we shouldn't use something because it is OP is idiotic. It shouldn't be that OP to begin (while be reasonably more powerful is reasonable since it takes a long &#! time to get to the rank to unlock it)... or they should add game levels where it isn't OP aside from going to wave 40 on defense.
-
I spent 115k credits this morning building my wyrm...and after doing pretty much just the alerts tonight, I"m back up to 50k because the alerts have been rewarding around 10k a pop. Does anyone else feel it's is a bit too easy? Or rather, it is too easy with the Alerts?

I have Loki, Ember, Frost, Seryn, and Trinity. I currently have partial blue prints for Mag, Volt, Banshee, and Rhino. Any ideas which one I should build next?
And I have the helmets for Loki, Mag, and Nyx if that is something to consider.

Why'd you even by the grakata? :p

I took AP off because I wasn't sure if it still functioned as a damage buff on the boltor.
-
I supercharged my boltor recently and am currently running damage mods (Pure80, Frost75, Fire45, Electric45) and then 50% fire rate and 30% ammo. I was wondering if their were any better mod configurations for it?
-
It's more of a stepping stone easily obtained by new players, but it is out classed by most other weapons later on.
-
I think you should go for melee damage , not charge, and fire rate, especially with Ash, since his smoke screen ability gives him 100% crit chance for all its duration.
50% on normal attacks, 100% on charge attacks.
And I bought them, but I'm having trouble properly using them because I don't have the north winds so I"m not taking advantage of the polarity slot (I have stun, but that is inferior to North Winds). I'm currently focusing on power, but I think I need to do a better comparison...I've always focused on power attacks for the most part, coming from Gram and Bo.

All the mod application screen really needs is for all of the identical mods to be collapsed into a single stack rather than a hundred different copies.
For the love of god yes. Clicking on it in the mod inventory could make it expand for combining purposes.

I've played pretty religiously for the past two weeks...I need enjoyment to prolong getting burned out. :p Gonna build the sentinel...thanks for your help!
-
Well, I'm almost at 100k credits and I don't know if I should get a Ether and Hek or Sentinel. I know the Sentinels aren't that special, but it doesn't have the issue the Ehter and Hek would have that I would level them up and need to move on again...I also have plenty of good guns, so it seems like that is the advantage of the Sentinel.
Update 7.9.0: The Glaive

The defense fix is wonderful, however, nearly everything else in this patch sucks.
Shotguns are useless now
The glaive blueprint isn't that big of an issue, but people are afraid of baby steps and rightly so.
Power strikes got heavily nerfed by forcing the extra useless animation
Removing the lockers was annoying and it hurts the spirit of exploration, something the game advertises.
The Gorgon didn't need a nerf, it wasn't htat great before.
Ending on some positive notes: the healer fix is great and moving the end of the map closer to the objective is a wonderful adjustment.
Upon further reconsideration on the Glaive: being credit/alert only doesn't concern me so long as we at some point can buy the bp. After the initial disappointment, I remember the nature of the model and thus became the enlightened one. :p
