  1. i guess we might be able to see with the current adjustments so long as players who use him actually use anything but dark verse. i haven't had a chance to go try myself today, but i think it might make his defensive gameplay more engaging from a support standpoint-- jury's still out on that!
  2. i totally agree with this which is why i wanted to make a post with thoughts on a couple minor ways to help, if they decide to look at tweaking like what was mentioned-- figured it might be worth a shot for feedback at the least. it'd be nice if they didn't change him at all, but unfortunately i imagine a lot of people might take the opportunity to say "yeah nerf him bc he kills everything in low level content and it ruins my gameplay" like what happened with ember way back.
  3. not sure if this will reach dev notice, but i saw the devshorts talk about tweaking dante and wanted to write a little bit of thoughts i've had while playing him (not helminthed) that i've been discussing with friends lately about his kit and how we think a nice balance might be achieved without compromising his gameplay: lowering overguard cap, and potentially halving or even quartering that on other players. dante as a casting frame should be casting, and having more incentive to upkeep triumph's buff and overguard on allies feels like great incentive to not forget about it! increasing cast requirement on dark verse to make it less spammable, perhaps? i've noticed mostly that it's dark verse ×2 > final verse spam that's been annihilating maps, and while i personally have been trying to keep that to a minimum to let others actually play, it's not to be said for everyone. could also tweak the amount of slash status stacks required to achieve the damage final verse does when x2 dark is cast before. i'm not a damage numbers afficionado so this is more just ideas from a pure feel standpoint i think dealing more with his spammable energy economy might be a good way to consider, since i've had no issues with energy when actually using noctua between buff uptime and occasional casts of x2 dv > fv when there's a lot of enemies starting to overwhelm a point. sorry if this is in poor taste! i've just absolutely loved dante, especially as someone who adores casting frames, and was hoping maybe my discussions with friends might prove fruitful as feedback!
  4. a new bug emerges: this time locked out of transference, but dante manifested within the void! the only difference this time was that i noticed his primary was being held wrong (shown early in the video), though it was fixed with a simple weapon swap, and that i had the onos equipped and in incarnon mode. not sure any of that should lock out of transference, but i do know i've fought quite a few void angels and never had this many little mishaps
  5. had it happen again-- i didn't activate noctua at all this time. primary and secondary did no damage, melee was fine. this time it was an exterminate. not sure what else was different from normal runs of this, as other exterminates we've run literally right before and after this have been fine
  6. during a mobile defense zariman mission as dante, i was suddenly unable (??) to do damage with my primary or secondary weapons against the void angel we were fighting. i tried seeing if i could replicate this with another mission's void angel (exterminate), but it seemed fine that time (if not a little low). melee was unaffected in both instances. adding a video link here of the entire void angel fight been noticing my zenurik slow hasn't seemed to be hitting either 🤔 but the fact dante can just not do weapon damage on some instances feels a lot more important to mention
  7. oh, that could be! i've definitely seen my share of glitched heads, and they usually have that buzz cut hard cutoff, i was just surprised it showed for all of us. no idea why it happened to trigger then, it's the first i've seen it on the open tileset at all and it happened on all three of our games. wild stuff! if it is a bug of some kind i'd have no clue how to replicate it 🤣 just got lucky with the wildly creepy spawn i guess

  9. i don't remember if anything like this has been shown, but a search for "entrati labs floating head" and other variants of the wording yielded no results anywhere! i uploaded it here: i doubt this is any kind of bug, but that being said, it has interesting lore implications. is this some kind of half-spawned void manifestation? is it a connection of multiverses? it looked the same on all three of our games, so i know it isn't a broken replica of a specific tenno. scared the S#&$ out of us 🤣 just wanted to post it for posterity in case anyone else stumbles on it and wonders if they're going crazy!
  10. i wasn't sure where to put this, but as the title suggests, my partner lunarniya and i were messing around in a captura scene when she used the tenno school menu to swap from operator to drifter and...well. i don't think the ensuing model was supposed to happen (i'm really sad the video didn't capture our hysterical laughter). it seemed to only happen on my PS5 version, not her PS4 version, so i'm not sure if it's just a PS5 glitch or if it's something to do with console compatibility or whatever else, but it's really hilarious. easy to avoid at least since it seems it might hopefully only be in captura mode, but still felt like a bug worth reporting! it's worth watching the whole video because my operator's entire body and hair completely just do not load in when i attempt to swap. very funny bug!
