Ghoul Purge event must be bugged

We haven't seen a single ghoul purge since the launch of the game. Wikia says it's supposed to be a part of the initial build at launch yet we haven't got a single bounty in almost 4 months. So, it's either a bug or I'm missing something about the bounties. Do we need Operation Plague Star before we get ghouls?

We had 3 completed ones in this time frame on pc

That's complete bull! I've been dying to do Ghouls. I figured it was originally something to do with the Plains being spawn glitched, but even after that was fixed we've gotten no Ghouls.

Yes, frustrating that we don't get Ghouls Bounties.

We have to miss out on the Hunter Mod-Set, except if you buy it overpriced from some PC migrated accounts.

I have no problem that these guys can sell the mods, but they had the chance to get hundreds of them...and the players that started on the switch....zero.

That's definitely not fair because player can make thousands of plat, because they have an advantage.

Definitely annoying being kept from hunter adrenaline/munitions for so long, hope we get ghouls soon.

I asked about this back on March 8 but no responses that time. I'm glad there is a discussion now.
Maybe DE is planning to launch a Ghoul Event similar to Plague Star on Switch? Hopefully.

Yesterday in Prime Time they said the new Orb is coming back the same as Baro and the Ghouls. 

In that moment i really had to laugh. 

Are the Ghouls that often on PC? And we never got them....

 

Edit: At least some words from DE would be nice. But we don't get infos about that since launch.

Ghouls popping out of the ground when roaming the plains, but no ghoul bounty in sight.

Or Pyrol. That stuff is too rare to be a low tier resource.
