What type of damage is the Hydrolyst Acid Rain?

Wiki does not state the damage type of the acid rain that occurs when capturing the Hydrolyst - Anyone know what the damage type is?  Toxin, Corrosive, Etc.

Good question! Can honestly say I haven't given it much thought, though logically it would be corrosive; maybe a player could check using Adaptation or Nyx Absorb to determine the damage type?

I do think its magnetic damage? since a few of its other attacks are also magnetic based... though its hard to say since its never really stated formally anywhere.

definitely not magnetic damage.  If that was it, then it would have no effect on any warframe equiped with 100% (+) magnetic resistance by 2 arcane nullifiers.  

And it most certainly did that.

I think arcane nullifier just allows you to ignore the magnetic proc, not the damage.

I always just assumed it was Corrosive damage. I have no idea now that you mention it lol.

Yep as Laudator said, arcane nullifier only prevents the proc.. not the actual damage

Afaik the Eidolons only deal Tau damage woth every attack.

Yes, and umbral mods as well. It got to the point i forgot to swap build on Chroma on an Eidolon hunt and the gantulyst beam of death wasn't able to break shields... The only doubt i have is specifically the acid, should be consistent with other attacks but i never tried checking tbh.
