The new Kuva lich is a bad idea.

As a player, who dont like to farm kuva, or use rivens.

I find the new lich boss, as a  large problem. Because as I can see it, as a player who dont like to farm kuva, or unlock relics. I am now forced to do those things, because with this new system, I am FORCED. To play gamemodes I do not enjoy, just to get the loot I came to that planet for, or else over half will be taken from me.

I found that as a huge turn off for me, if I need to farm for a set of mods, farm for the relics for those mods, fight a boss. AND THEN I can get those 100 hexon I came for.

I haven't gotten far enough into these yet.
Is it possible to get a heads up on the forced part?
I've been trying to get these fellas to spawn, and I can't..
so I don't really know where this goes.

I heard some things about friends and clan members being able to take your target for you.
Perhaps you can help figure out how I'm accidentally avoiding them non-stop. lol
Not sure if this is an opt-in sort of thing.
Whether they could have an aspect where they're trivial and avoidable in some cases.
Whether I'm bugged? Can't tell.

If they have the system in place to take lich from others, I'll take em'. 😃

The concept is bad.

Why add a system that takes your rewards from a mission where the Kuva fortress is located?

It seems you haven't even tried it yet but already complaining.

First of all, you'll need to create Kuva Lich so he/she could still your rewards. By killing certain target.

Ok, you've killed a certain target and created Kuva Lich. Now, in order to lose rewards, you need to choose Lich's mission from the list, like you do with Nightmare/Sorties/Kuva etc.

The whole system is completely optional.

and still mechanic I still cant see a single use, over a reason for DE to add knifes

I mean....literally if you tried it then you'll get your answer. I'd say complaining when you haven't even played it yet is equally as bad

To your recent post: Why add anything to the game at all then? At this point you're finding faults just because and complaining for the sake of it

yeah not playing it, when they say they will add that mechanic, makes me want to quite the game.

Good riddance I guess? If you don't even wanna play it yet and just read out what you want to read, not getting the full scope of a mechanic and understanding it then that's not because of the game, it's on you

People leave all the time, you doing so isn't gonna change anything

You haven't read the patchnotes, haven't watched the devstream where it was shown how this system works, and you haven't tried it yourself in the game. So that's on you.

Or having pure fun. Like the purpose of the whole game.

Woah, woah. Woah.

Dude didn't enjoy his experience.
It just launched, we're still hype.

Give it a week to simmer, and OP, be sure to leave constructive criticism about how this gameplay method could be in place not to interfere.
Best case, they take your advice and implement something better in a week, with more clear ways out.

All good, man.

Saw you've been here since 2015.
Thanks to you, too.

I figured, with as few posts as you have, you don't get on the forum unless you feel very deeply about something.
This was something you felt deeply about.

There's no doubt the theft of loot is gonna rattle some onions. o_O
There's also no doubt it's harder to speak lightheartedly about that if you felt tossed unwillingly into it.

It could be there are mechanics that can help us avoid this fate.
It could also be that as things are set up now, you stumbled into it by accident,
and were thrust into a situation that was not what you signed up for.

Maybe a work around comes together, and maybe you'll be the one with the right idea of how,
when we've all had a little more time and experience with the new mechanics.
I wouldn't want to lose that chance.

They certainly help, no doubt.

As it came up, played out, and was presented in game, it threw them for a loop.

I didn't start watching devstreams till this year. ..felt too fanboy at the time.
I was into the story as it was presented in game.
Barely even touched the wikia, because that wasn't playing the game.

It's true that they were striking too hard on an iron too hot.
That could have been avoided, that is also true.
But as it's never been mandatory that we read that, else forfeit immersion..
It's not totally outlandish that these things happen.
As far as the in game experience goes, that all happened in game for them.
This is the price we sometimes pay for not having hand holding tutorial levels.

Yeah I only post things I see need to be fixed / added.

And yeah I dont read alot of the wiki, or watch devstream, so I did felt forced into this new system.

Give it some thought over the next day or two, and let DE know.
The experience that we receive in game, no spoilers, no guides, also matters.
The wikia is kinda there to both amass all of the information outside of game,
but also fill in the gaps that aren't explained through the game clearly.
Patch notes can feel like far more reading than someone signed
up for when they're trying to shoot Grineer between shifts.

Best of luck, Tenno.
Hit me up in game if you ever need to get rid of a lich.

As far as I’ve seen, the Lich can only steal from you if you let it: by choosing the high level version of the node within its territory. It’s like picking between a fissure/nightmare/Kuva mission and the regular mission.

You ever need to have been robbed twice to know you didn't like it?

I think they'll be fine honestly.

Not a forum thread about any update that isn't a bit too quick to react.
But they do so knowing the same body of work that you or I know as far as the game's experience is concerned.
Whether we have different approaches or perspectives, or just didn't skip lunch..
Beneath the ravings of any poster is a concerned player trying to convey suggestions for better ideas.

Time for concerns ended with the update release. Everyone is free to try it out. OP posts feedback about a non-existent issue. How should devs fix this issue?

Possibly with one line of dialogue from ordis or the inbox.
Might have been all it took.
If it's happening to this user, it's likely going to happen to thousands more before the week ends.
There might be a super simple and elegant solution that doesn't cost beans for development time.
That would be worth consideration if it happens enough to others.
