ElMarto
So is it just me or the railjack model size when you look at it from the outside(archwing) is 4 or 5 times smaller than when you are looking at it from the drydock?
Vermagus
I thought this also till you fly closer, it's still about the same size.
Duskham
It's the same size or very close, just fly closer
Loza03
Perspective. When you get close it's the right size, but in space you're comparing it to items as big if not bigger, whereas in the Drydock you're comparing it to, say, the barge, or the flags or yourself a lot more, and you're seeing it from further away.
ElMarto
Actually no. I get as close as i can, and my warframe is the size of the wing, when on the drydock is much bigger.
(XBOX)Architect Prime
The scale seems different in missions because of the insane speed you move at most likely.
Gaxxian
In space seems much smaller. But its a optical effect 😮 Edited December 13, 2019 by Gaxxian
(XBOX)Erudite Prime
Archwing scale has always been questionable. Load up any random Archwing mission and get close to enemies.
DagoDrakh
It's a trick to make the playing field bigger with smaller ships. The inside and the outside clearly isn't 1:1 and when you enter the ship from outside, you basically shrink down to the Titania size before the camera goes black and you reappear inside. There is a reason you have no real windows on your ship from the outside. Edited December 14, 2019 by DagoDrakh

It's not perspective, the exterior of the Railjack is substantially smaller than the interior. The exterior measures ~180 meters long nose-to-tail (and that's being very generous with what I consider the "tail") and 20 meters wide side to side on the hull, not counting the engine nacelles. The interior is 240 meters long cockpit-to-forge and 50 meters wide end-to-end in the Reliquary room. The interior is massive. Additionally, the camera in the Railjack is still completely busted. The ship's main view is rendered from a point above the hull, somewhere inside the Archwing Slingshot tube and the parallax shift experienced moving front-to-back doesn't correspond to either the 240 meters of the interior nor the 180 meters of the exterior.
