Krovakon Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) 7/10, enjoyable. but the core combat gets boring pretty fast. but they do update it just quickly enough to keep people returning every week with a new interesting weapon or mechanic. taiiat Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) Core concepts and gameplay - 88.5/100 (beautiful, fluid gameplay - most of the time) Art Design - 92.8/100 Loot concepts and obtaining it - 58.9/100 Visuals - 86.6/100 Audio as a whole - 93.4/100 UI as a whole - 70.4/100 Economy, including Platinum and F2P model - 78.6/100 (only because the money it would take to pay to win Warframe would put most people broke) Level Design as a whole - 84.3/100 getting my moneys' worth in enjoyment compared to other games - 99.5/100 can't think of any other large factors to Warframe. edit: OH! As the game is right now i would not recommend it to any new player, also with the addition of galatine/soma/nova, you have all the best equipment in a level 3 mastery rank, so no need to go further as this game now is a grindfest, and the core of the game runs thin in just a few gameplay hours... potential? yes, but we've been in that state for the last 3 months (waiting and hoping for), how many hope is enough? In the F2P marketplace Beta has become little more than a marketing gimmick allowing devs to generate revenue despite offering unfinished products. The longer you mugs accept "beta" as an excuse for unfinished products, the more crap that will turn up in the marketplace. Regardless of how good or bad you may feel warframe is, supporting this marketing nonsense spouting "its beta" as a retort to every complaint or comment is bad for all gamers. You do no more than provide an excuse for less reputable developers to rip people off with junk; and the general quality of games can only suffer as a result.
