Xata's Whisper vs Eidolon

I know that Xata's whisper doesn't work on Eidolon shields (cause logic) but does it work on the weak points?

Or is it effective against them?

I'm asking because currently my Eidolon hunter Titania has Roar but recently I subsumed Xaku and I was wondering if this ability could replace roar.

While there's the extra damage thanks to more Void damage from Xata's Whisper, it doesn't have any additional damage bonuses against the Eidolon's Alloy Armor and Robotic health types.

In short, not much of a damage boost against the Eidolons, and the Void bubble proc might hamper hitting the Synovias.

Void damage is now neutral on all shield/health/armour types, so you'd arguably be worse off because you are trading your current damage type distribution for a less favourable one

What I would think about is smite infusion, but it requires a mod slot.

EDIT: oops, smite infusion doesn't work on exalted weapons. Thxde

if you need more than 2 mags for the weakpoints with your titania, try energized munitions, works on your exalted pistols :)

Your not really trading anything as wisper gives bonus damage. Unless its changed I dont think Eidalons suffer status chance so its a non issue.

He wants to swap out roar though. So he loses some total damage, rad/cold included, and gains back some void damage.
