Galvanized mods and wukongs celestial twin

-Necrolytic-

Question

I noticed that the galvanized mods "on kill" doesn't work if the celestial twin of wukong kills an enemy with the primary . Is this something like a bug/overlooked mechanic or is it too far fetched to think that they'd allow the mods to work on celestial twin?

Not surprised, those conditions will not proc on spectors. To be clear are you saying that the clone is not benefiting or that your warframe is not benefiting from clones proc?

Clone isn't benefitting,  and it's not a spectre since other wepons and mods including rivens work on wukongs clone

Galvanized mods it's just a local modifier, it's not a global/loadout modifier, and there's nothing described in the mod describing it should work. The gladiator mod set has been removed from the melee companion in this update precisely to remove this.

Apparently the DE doesn't want to connect modifiers between different equipment and that's bad because we have limited slots on each equipment making builds extremely simple and less complex; the only factor that can fix this is linked mods extending builds and slots on other gear.

we also need more technical descriptions to make it easy to read like the text boxes in Railjack Plexus Mods so there would be room to show listings like:

  • passively: text...
  • globally: text...
  • locally: text...
  • to loadout: text...
  • to team: text...
  • to warframe: text...
  • to companion: text...

vigilante mods still benefit primary mods so ... and vigilante is just gladiator but they had to nerf melee so the removed gladiator set bonus from helios

The answer from [DE]Snake makes sense. Your clone doesn't benefit from your kills, and you don't benefit from its kills.

He doesn't answer the question, "does the clone benefit from its own kills?" and from what I've seen, the answer is still, no. That really limits the utility of galvanized mods for Wukong players.
