How will cross progression work if you have accounts on multiple platforms

As the title says, I have played warframe on both pc and ps4. I wanted to know whether I will be able to choose which accounts' progression gets carried forward?

Unless there is account merging, which is unlikely, pick an account and stick with it.

Well I have seen people post tweets from de saying merging was the overall goal.  I have near maxed accounts on playstation and pc atm.  One problem I can see with that is I will basically never be able to do a sortie again I have 150 rivens on both or maybe they just get rid of/increase the cap massively.  There is also the different clans I have one on each system.  Doubling up all the frames and weapons shouldn't be to big of a deal I guess.... 2 railjacks probly isn't an issue merging to 1 they are basically the same just different mods /equipment I guess.
