Investing for Cross Save/Trade?

Given that Platinum has a higher buying power on PS4 than on PC

yet will become cross traded soon, thus greatly devaluing PS4 Platinum

 

does it make sense as a PS4 player to convert all my Platinum into other assets, such as Arcanes?

which can then be resold at a better conversion rate After Cross Trade enables.

 

suggested best items to invest into? Rivens, Arcanes, Prime Sets?

Hard to anticipate exactly what is going to happen, but it's probably not the best time to buy stuff or try to speculate on prices.

• PC currently has lower prices and more offers.
• Consoles have higher prices and less offers currently.

Thus logically you'll have even lower prices and even more offers after the merges, so it's probably not a good time to buy anything right before a huge influx of new items on the market that will have to compete with the PC's lower prices.

Thus yeah, personally I think liquidating makes more sense than investing right now. Make your plat now since it'll probably be harder to make some after the changes.

For one, the economy will be "a raging dumpster fire" during this "transition" phase. Console market items will severely deflate in value during this period and buyers alongside sellers are all holding out on pulling the trigger thus decreasing demand. If anything, you should sell your items NOW.
