Hunter Munitions - Slash

Does Hildryn, who has access to a good armor stripping, still use Hunter Munitions on her weapons? If not, what are good alternatives to help improve damage on frames like her?

Also, I've seen people say that weapons that have good innate slash still benefit greatly from using Hunter Munitions, how is that? Do you get more procs? Bigger procs??

Hunter Munitions is generally better than innate Slash procs, unless you have a weapon with >50% Slash damage and quite high status chance. One of it's big advantages is that you can mod the weapon for Viral damage without reducing the Slash procs you get.

If you have a weapon that innately procs Slash, and use HM on it, you'll get more procs is all.

A good Weapon with HM will kill pretty much anything, so you can still use it on Hildryn, though if armor is not a concern any combination or single element of Viral/Heat is fantastic.

the innate slash thing is complete hogwash, the size of the proc is based on your total damage dealt in the shot that procced it and it procs even on fully elemental weapons.

as for "is it worth it on hildryn", less so but still yes. slash procs deal true damage, meaning they bypass all forms of damage reduction (not just armor). so it still has some use. 

other options with armor stripping are to go for high status toxin weapons (assuming you'll be fighting highly shielded enemies) or if neither are an issue, in my opinion viral + heat + slash is the way to go.

Technically more procs.  Although the game will lump together multiple bleed procs from a single damage instance into one damage popup.  You'll still see the number of bleeds on the enemy status bar and the damage increase per popup.

Probably worth mentioning that Internal Bleeding / Hemo bleeds don't stack with natural or HM bleeds this way.  They just give an additional chance at a bleed rather than a chance at additional bleeds.

Or just Gas grouping setups. Since Gas pretty much relies on armor strip.

Basically you group enemies and proc Gas on them, each enemy gets own Gas cloud that damages him and everything around him. The Gas clouds linger.
