However, what if the grineer offered a catalyst to take it? Would we still defend it? Could we still defend it? Who actually uses those extractors... Tried it a couple times, end up leaving the damn thing to die on a planet completely forgotten about :P Can get any Resource I want within minutes if you put your mind to it... Extractor just an extra thing to worry about. Would prefer if less people were in Zephyr tornadoing my Mods & MD Objectives through the roof and walls... The oxium farm is really only once anyway for the sake of Zephyr. Unless the next frame will also be up in Tenno Research and require Oxium for some reason. Distilling extractors also require a large amount of oxium. I've built four (so far) and haven't set foot in Kappa since I completed Zeph. The answer is the same one as for T3 keys: Phalan. Phalan survival can net rather large amounts of oxium, especially if the team sticks together. Get keys and oxium--win/win situation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mimas just got fully invaded by the Corpus, and quite a large number of OXpreys (Oxium Ospreys) spawn there. Stay for >20 minutes and you should be able to get >50 Oxium (managed 178 Oxium during 2x Resource Day. At 150 oxium per distilling extractor, and a need for 8 of those (four to send out, four in reserve/repairs), that's 1200 oxium I need total. ...Not to say I'm taking any sides on the Kappa Debate. Even if Kappa is reclaimed, chances are the Corpus will take another Grineer mobile defense node somewhere. It's the nature of the invasion system.
